  1. So you have seen every contract ?
  2. First of all if you buy a place with public access im sure the fine print states many times in the contract your pier will get violated sometimes...this comes in the same class as a development bein built beside a Hog farm and ppl complaining about the smell .
  3. What i hear the first second or 2 is you have no clue or ok you sparked my intrest its all about that first couple seconds
  4. If its whippy its UL if it aint its a light .uglystiks are kinda off sometimes
  5. Its all about what ya like ..i have over 100 reels some more then $100 some less if i paid retail it be about 12k
  6. I have many diff spincast i prefer the dawias and abus .both have about the smoothest drags and the abu has. oscillating spool that makes your line criss cross this helps it not dig in and also the pickup pin spins .
  7. Goliath grouper fishing im using a penn international conventional reel and 100 lb line on a 5' tuna rod and roller guides..aint saying a spinning cant do it im just saying when the 800lb shark gets your 500lb grouper something is coming on board or beach
  8. 2 for me casting and spinning this includes saltwater and fresh.
  9. Are you using sharp hoooks...owner ,gama, vmc i can set these hooks on anything and not even fishing..carpet,shirts,pants,couches,fingers,shoulders ,legs ,hats pretty much anything except smooth metal
  10. Its what the drag is supposed to do if it wont slip your line will break and the drag surface of that reel is smaller then a Dime ..no offense but locking down a reel that small is defeating the whole light line small reel purpose anyway.i dont lock any drag whether its a baitcaster with 25lb line or a UL with 2 lb line
  11. Was just challenging ppl that change there mono weekly.lol saying its no good .i use mono in saltwater way more extreme conditions then any freshwater pond i can get about 6 months out of it and it aint the sun that hurts it.them barnacles ,oystershells and pilings and bluefish and stripers.
  12. Thats what i mean i never had a prob with longtivity that big game survived saltwater, freezing, sun ,sand and moisture the reel was shot and all the guides where corroded lol
  13. Whats the number i gottta try um
  14. That a Stanley wedge???
  15. Rod bends, hook penetrates, drag then maybe line stretches.all in about 5 seconds .im my experiance the only real con with nylon is longtivity .then again we found my brothers surf rod under sand a year later after a hurricane with 15 lb big game a little faded but still had great knot strength so line stretch to me dont matter unless near a platform crane with 80k lbs of steel beams
  16. Call there CS and see if you talk to anyone and tell them you need part ???? And see if you talk to anyone ...this is a good test

  21. Check your line roller sounds like it may be locked up or needs a drop of remoil
  22. How could i leave out ..lews original round reels ,shimano calcuttas, penn z series spinning reels ,109,9 ,209., 309 ...most of what i listed can be found at yard sales, flea markets etc from $1 to $100 .these aint the lightest, most refined, blingiest reels but they can and do get the job done now and most will be still be doin it 50 yrs from now.
