I love my little pro max/black max,s 1600,s and 3600,s along with my sm 1600,s up to my c-3,s c-4,s and c-5,s these reels are worthy as family heirlooms :)i prefer them over my revo,s even just something about round reels 8-)

like has been noted yes you can go out and catch bass with snoopy rods and ugly stiks.But to be consistent each and every time you fish especially with jigs and plastics you really do better with a sensitive rod ....example your t-rigging a worm in 20 foot of water in stumps .or rocks .you ain't had a good bite all day .you better know when that 8 pounder just BARELY taps your line or your going home skunked or worse knowing there was one there and u didn't feel it.and another thing IMO as long as your using a exposed blank reelseat and a lighter rod you will feel all you need BTW i don't have any rods over 100 bucks all i use are clarus,rapalas,convergence, and falcon rods for jigs and worms

its durable that pivoting head will save u some fish they wont have any leverage to throw the bait

yes for jigs and worms with these its all about rod movement ,with a sensitive rod u can tell the differance in a stick ,rock,grass,mudd or most important a fish

Buy some zerust by flambeu you can get small organizers for your hooks and other sizes for ur crankbaits its all i use for my hard lures and hooks

Mag brakes are for the end of your cast sloow speed your centrifical control is for controllling your 30,000 RPM start up.Do that fist then move on to your mag brake 2 pins on should work make sure they are opposite each other also if all else fails send me the reel ;D and ill send u a brand new abu garcia 6600c4 that anyone can master

Yup they still make um BUT the colors aint like they used to be i have about 200 packs i bought yrs ago. BTW walmart has a kit for 10 bucks with augers in it and many other plastics. Really ODD colors too but u do get lucky now and then and find usable stuff

I love my Revo drags do i need 24 lbs nope BUT if one day i do its there besides like others say all u need is 8 or so and the revo drag is smooth at 8 or 18. Askin about to much drag is like askin does this Cummins have to much torque..heres your sign
