Cheap jigs at walmart
I noticed that myself on my crappie jigs. First couple batches I didn't bake and they'd start chipping in the containers I carry them in just from bouncing off each other. Bake them, and they don't chip for quite a while, even bouncing off rocks here and there.

Totally dead - 10 hours If it's an Gel or AGM - I wouldn't run it more than 5 or 6 though to prevent 'damaging' it. Frequent drains below 40% on AGMs/ 50% of Gels will shorten the lifespan. LiFePo4 batteries you can drain almost dry.- 2026 BASS Elite Schedule Released
Hadn't seen that, probably cause I dropped out of the 'contest' due to missing 2 events cause of my time in the hospital. Come on, man....tell us how you REALLY feel about a viable finesse technique?- A good gift idea.
I've had one for years - different brand. No light and you have to watch the gauge, but works the same.- 2026 BASS Elite Schedule Released
And again - nothing up here...they ever going to hit Mille Lacs or the Upper Mississippi again?- Boating safety in the summertime
Even smaller lakes can have that issue Local restaurant has cruise boats that are 50' long plying Minnetonka Their turning radius sucks, and their stopping distance isn't that great either- Does Anybody Forage Their Bait?
In MN you're allowed to net minnows - anything else has to be returned (can't use sunnies, perch, etc for bait here). You have to use them in the water you caught them in, and you can't return them when you're done for the day...have to trash them. Too much to go through so most people just buy them from the bait shops.- Post a photo a day!
I haven't been in over 20 years...looks like you all had fun.- Motorized or not
Yep - MN at least. When I had my canoe, since I had a 30# TM on it, I had to register it as a motorized boat and put the registration numbers on the hull. Paddle only canoes just needed the 3-year sticker.- Cheapest spot lock motor for Kayak/SUP hybrid
Long as you go through a fuse or circuit breaker, ya.- Saving soft plastics worth it?
calculation 5 gallons of Plastisol will make about 2000 Senko size worms - so a smidge under $0.09 each Colorant (Do It X2) 325-650 worms per bottle $0.02-$0.04 per worm So main cost is $0.11-$0.13 per worm. Note that re-melting worms either gives you a 'muddy-brown' color if you mix them together, or you have to separate by color to prevent that. How much organization are you willing to go through to separate colors and collect enough to make a batch of a specific color from recycling?- Guiding?
It's based on the percentage of time you use them when actively guiding....if it's 50/50 (guide/going solo for pleasure), then you can only deduct 50% of the normal amount. And writing off is over time, not an instant thing. It's based on the normal lifespan of the item. Tackle I don't think would be included....that'd be covered as as expense on your accounting as 'Cost of doing business'.- Attaching line to spools.
I just use the Arbor Knot around the spool....no other anchoring other than the wraps of mono I use for backing on all my reels.- Free rig
No - it's different positions for the hook. The more forward you have the hook , the straighter it drops...move the hook back and there's more 'fluttering' and side-to-side motion on the drop.- Happy Birthday WRB
Happy Birthday, Tom - and may you have many more (so you can teach us more )- Anyone like the taste of Bluegill?
Broiled whole....- Daiwa tatula xt review
I'll double down on the Aird-X - despite having Victory and Mojo Bass rods as my main rods, I still have two Aird-Xs that I use....7'0" MH/F for spinners/chatters and 7'0" H/F for frogs. They definitely perform above their price point, and going on 5 years, they've never given me a problem.- What is this jighead called?
Looks like a take on Charlie Brewer's Slider Jig.- Great forum member
I've also received a couple 'care packages' of lures and line from a generous member here. Another member gifted me 4 long-sleeve sun t-shirts. Both of course received my humble thanks. People here are the greatest.- Anti virus
I was a tech, and building my own since the late 80's. AVG free has served me well for a number of years, and the suggestion of Malwarebytes is also a good one.- Thinking of switching from 14 lb mono to braid or fluro for my topwater/bladed jig setup, what do you recommend?
^ what he said for topwaters - I still like 15# FC for chatterbaits.- No fishing for awhile
I understand not wanting to upset the native tribes - but there should be a limit. How much of their land is going to be destroyed because the state wants 'hands off'. Idiots. - Wiring of Garmin Vivid striker 7sv
