  1. IMO: It's either that (best case) or a seized piston (worst case) If you can find one - the best thing I invested in for my '73 25hp Evinrude was a copy of the shop manual...not the owner's or service manual - this is the one mechanics use for fixing or even rebuilding motors.
  2. Auto Zone MIGHT have it - they're more a general auto-parts place though. Search Google for "Auto Body Supply near me"
  3. Wonder who got through the door first...him or Milliken?
  4. The trailer I got with mine was a rust-bucket upon first glance....but it turned out to be solid. Paint remover, wire bush and a base coat cleaned that all up....and I replaced ALL the bolts/washers/nuts. I would recommend replacing the hardware and anything that looks a little wonky. Before - after main disassembly. Just before carpeting the new bunks.
  5. Looking at the pics, I agree with Tom that it needs to be torn down to bare hull and rebuilt from the keel up. Before building any type of super-structure, all holes need to be sealed - even those 'above the water line'....this is what I used for that.

  7. I can't see any company eating the tariffs since it would put them in the red. Consumer manufacturing only sees a net profit margin of 3%-8% - eating a 15% tariff would soon put them out of business.
  8. Very Carefully! Actually was using small inline spinners for panfish but this little devil decided he was hungry.
  9. Why do I have no problem believing that?
  10. Nope - with all the sports scholarships, product endorsements and out-right pay...they're no different than the pros now-days. How about colleges actually working to endorse education over gladiator games? FWIW: I hate pro sports too.
  11. Always knew kayaks were a little kinky.
  12. I've never found any type of bullying here - oh we jokingly take little pot-shots at each other, but it's all in fun. Bullying about a catch - Glenn and others would knock that off the site so fast it'd make your head spin. Don't stop on account of morons on other sites....we celebrate all catches here...like a thread we had about the 'monsters' we caught....this was my contribution to the 'monster thread'.
  13. Well, my prior gen Mojos are holding up good, as is my Panfish...all bought after Covid. So I personally think that the number of broken rods is being inflated by social media.
  14. I'm just trying to extend what life I have left....lung cancer is a guaranteed killer - all they can do for me is kick the can down the road a bit...and I do what I can to help that.
  15. I might let you pass on that....but I was thinking Drop-Shot or Ned primarily.
  16. And where's the finesse rigs? Gotta have some finesse rigs!
  17. I'll pass he grits to the wife...never cared for them myself, but she grew up on them.
  18. I would worry that the UPF coating would be erased, making them ordinary T-Shirts.
  19. Don't be mean, man....mine is all gone due to chemo and I need reminding of what a full head of hair looks like. Gim's the one who needs to be cut off at the knees.
  20. Ya - I won't buy a Trigon rod. I've tested them at my local shop and they're bloody uncomfortable for me.
  21. Would glidebaits work? https://www.clydescranks.com/collections/clydes-crappie-patterned-baits?sort_by_desktop=best-selling&filter.p.product_type=Glidebait&sort_by_mobile=best-selling
  22. Depends on a number of factors - but a study done years ago showed time of the year had an impact...probably based on water temp. https://www.in-fisherman.com/editorial/largemouth-bass-hook-wounds/370309
  23. Any type of squash or melon will do that....pumpkin is a type of squash.
