Best Aluminum Bass Boat??
They are a dime a dozen and we deal with them all the time. No where did I say they were not a good boat. A boat is nothing but, a tool to catch fish. Nothing more nothing less

Best Aluminum Bass Boat??
Yesterday day we fished out of my grandpa’s millentia. We get to use it when ever We want. as he does not fish any more and bought it more for the marina/boat storage/boat repair placeS he owns. So my brother brought it down from frankfort. seeme like the millentium sits lower in the water and has lower sides so it’s almost a bass boat with a deeper-v. I also have a 2 year daughter that higher sides would be better for. The bow also isn’t so high in the air. Like you guys said might just have to use a net more. After walleye fishing in it yesterday it has me leaning more that way than an actual bass boat. It only has a 70 hp merc but, it scoots.

Best Aluminum Bass Boat??
Do you find any issueS bass fishing out of somthing like that?. Only reason I ask is am looking to upgrade within a year. I want to start doing bass tournaments. However, I also only live 45 minutes from the Saginaw bay. Home to millions of walleye. I also could use it for salmon fishing in the fall. I guss what negatives from your experience have you noticed bass fishing out of a deeper v higher sides boat like that. Also pure bass boats are more expensive up here. Where as those lund type boats are a dime dozen

Gentleman’s bet

S.S. Amoeba has been sunk!
Might be kind of expensive for how much you might need but, buy some JB marine weld and a harbor frieght palm sander. You may have to slowly build it up to cover the big holes but, the stuff flatt out works. If you want to get real fancy you can sand it down and it will look un-noticeable. I’d try it atleast a good Metal canoe at decent price is hard to find My entire stern port qtr has basically been rebuilt with jB weld because, I have had 3-4 fish finders on my tin can. Each transducer bracket is different. So I have to fill in the old screw holes with JB weld. Let it set 24ish hours and than sand smooth. Barley tell anything was ever there after I get done sanding it down. I’ve never had an issue with it cracking or letting water in. It’s usually stronger than the metal around it.

budget rods
Abu Garcia veritas ( sp) has a preatty quick Tip For $99 and felt pretty good in my hands any how. It came in 2nd place when I was looking for a heavy pitching rig. Another 20 bucks you could get a st.croix bassx. The bassx is what I ended up getting

First bladed jig of the year. I planned on making 2-3 red bladed jigs plus some other colors. However, apparently I am out blades and only had one left. LPO which, is where I got them the last time is shutting their doors today for who knows how long. Found some more on eBay but, the guy is in Cali and they are locked down. Might have to get some from Jann’s

Show Off Your Work!
Latest batch ( well some were in the last post). I literally have so many arkies, football jigs, and poison tails now it’s disgusting. The 3/4 brush jigs I bought on eBay painted green pumpkin. The football jigs I bought from cadman unpaired 2 years ago and I still have a bunch I need to paint. The arkies and poisons are mine from start to finish. That last batch of poisons I did I used devcon 2 ton epoxy as a clear coat. Stuff is pretty slick and that finish is tough As nails. It’s basically self leveling so it hides brush strokes or if you put to much on in a area Jig box is full !!!!. Most of these I have made except the 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 oz in the top left compartment

REMEMBER THESE
Those will Bring decent $$$$ from the southern Lake Michigan guys. They use them for trolling for coho, browns, and steel head. For some reason they like the originals and not after storm was bought out

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
Nice small world haha. That’s where I bought spinner baits too. I also won a 2 pack of lucky craft jerk baits about the same time I bought those square bills. I couldn’t even find those square bills on line at another store to even try to figure out what they were retailing for to figure out where my max bid was going to be

Are today's plastics, biodegradable?
I think you are right. If not biodegradable they at least break down faster. Take a gulp product and leave it out of the sauce for a couple of days and it Will shrivel up to about a 1/4 of the size it was

My Last Delivery Before Lake closings
Luckily the state of Michigan is not closing any of the 1000’s of public launches, camp grounds or state land. The vast majority of the boat ramps are just dirt or pavement ramps with no or little docks any how. Only thing they are keeping closed are any bathrooms that maybe located on or near the launches. However, that is all subject to change at a moment’s notice

I bought two of them Too off of eBay from a place in Alabama About a month ago . Your right there is barely any info on them. I only have 3 other flat sides square bills and these are my first lucky craft. So decided why not

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
I’ve actually been slowing down on tackle purchases. Except I did pick up 2 packs of banditi bugs. One in summer craw and the other in okeechobee blue , I guess that’s what that color is. everybody talks about googan either good or bad so decided to finally bite the bullet and see for my self. won 2 separate 2 packs of war eagle spinner baits on eBay. I won them for about retail however, nobody really sells them up here. eBay shipping is usually cheaper than buying them from a online store. The chartreuse/white is 3/4 and the black and gold blade is 3/8. I’m kinda gitty to try these out. They are very well made for a production lure.

No they are just the rubber collars. I have not ventured down that rabbit hole yet. I’ve been doing some research on it though.

Making Bladed Jigs
Yeah, I think those are the blades that tackle ware house is selling also. I was looking into them. I may still get some. It’s a interesting concept. I wonder once you get the hook eye open enough how they will preform. If it works, I like that idea better than double split rings on a vertical line tie hook.

First run with the do-it poison tail mold. I bought the One that does the larger sizes 1/2-1oz. Mold poured really well right out of the box. Only thing I didn’t do that I want to do in the future is coat the jigs with devcon 2-ton epoxy. I did epoxy the eyes but, just used house brand 5 minute epoxy. I don’t know why the images are sideways. On my phone they are right side up

Fishing gear you think is worth the price, or not..?
Good hooks and line are worth the extra money. With hooks the Hook up rate goes up and they last longer with out bending when un-hooking or fighting a fish . I would buy the eagle claw laser sharps if they didn’t rust just looking at water. with rods and reels depending on what technique you are using. Sometimes the rod is more important and other time it is the reel.

Rapala Floating Minnows & Creek Fishing
I’ve never really noticed a difference between the plastic and balsa models. except it seems like the balsa ones held up better And a dollar or two more. Is there any real difference between plastic and balsa?

Rapala Floating Minnows & Creek Fishing
Jointed rapala J-7 black and silver. The big smallie smashed it. I think I had caught that fish a year earlier on a plastic rapala floating minnow Size 7 clown. The silver jointed j-7 kills it on my local river. The clown colored one was good for cloudy days. Size 5 rapala plastic floater in black and silver red body with red diving lip is good also basically Anything size 5-7 should natural colored darker lures when it is sunny and the clown, white and chartreuse when it’s over cast and or rainy.
