  1. That’s what happened here. I’ve never seen bluegill like at this place. 2/4 pound bass were what was in there. Now nothing. It’s sad
  2. Cool, I bet you get a few. The 30 size seems to want dive a bit at anything above a painfully slow retrieve. Just a heads up. Allot of fun though. On a side note you can crank it down a bit.
  3. Thanks, I was Out a couple hours. Caught two pickerel also. Those fish were cold. Not much fight in them. Water is probably 40ish degrees if I had to guess.
  4. I would try a couple bungee cords like above to try it out. Then I you like it you could upgrade, or leave bungee cords.
  5. I wouldn’t think so. Did you loosen your drag all the way for the off season. If so tighten it back up.
  6. I feel like you can catch fish with them any time you throw it. Like @J Francho said use it when you want to.
  7. Heading there fore four days the end of June. All I can really find is it’s huge. I’ll be heading there with a few guys. I’m bringing a John boat. Not sure of my exact location on the lake yet. Looking for some pointers on what to bring and general info. Thanks in advance.
  8. Mass, ice has been gone a little over a week
  9. Felt good to slow roll a Spinnerbait and feel a thump.
  10. I just leave them on. Never been long enough to cause a problem.
  11. What Price range are we calling Budget. When I got started a couple years ago I thought my $120 carbonlite rods were nice expensive rods. Then once I got more into it and started reading online I realized $120 was where Some of the decent brands started and then went up.
  12. To my favorite pond. This 2/3 acre pond used to be full off 2/4 pound bass. It was a great little honey hole and only a few guys went there. It’s behind a industrial building. It was about the best fishing you could have for a hour after work. I ran into one of the other guys there and he told me he seen the landscaping crew there at night filling up coolers with bass. What a shame. That explains why all of a sudden last year there were only a few dinks to catch.
  13. That’s almost as much as I catch for the year. No lol.
  14. I work for myself so I take it pretty easy on me. If I come in a little late or leave a little early to go fishing.
  15. That’s a great bait. You can really crawl it slow in the dark/dirty water.
  16. Start with two tall glasses of bourbon don’t say anything till he’s half done. Then it will all start to make sense.
  17. Thanks, I found them at dicks.
  18. Pretty sweet, I haven’t seen any booths like that at the few shows I’ve been to.
  19. I’ve been using braid on mine for two seasons of hard use age and it seams fine.
  20. Good, job your really picking it up.
  21. Good to know thanks
  22. I just started using them last season. I did well the whole time with them.
  23. Anyone know a store that has them in stock. Mass/NH, I’m old fashioned and like to go to the store and buy things.
