Went to expo in mass today, lots of cool stuff. Grabbed a couple things from a few local companies just getting going. I quickly learned I was unprepared when I got there. Next year With a disposable $500.

I like throwing a big worm. Sometimes it makes me feel like I’m doing something. I’ve also caught lots of 8”/10” bass on the 10/12” worms.

I’m walking the banks. There is about 3/4 places I can hit within 20 mins

I believe they have a 6’8” mhf if that matters.

If you’re anywhere near a bass pro, check out the carbonlite 2.0\ currado k combo they sell for $269. It’s a quality setup he can get in a 6’6”. Also it looks great and leaves room to buy other things. You could go m or mh and do allot things with it. The currado will take him less then a week to get rolling on.

Went to Kittery trading post yesterday. Great place with just awesome stuff for everyone. I’ve been there a few times, this was the first time In The fishing department. They have a assortment of stuff you just don’t see at stores often. As great as it was I was hoping to see some Megabass rods In stock. They don’t have them since the levante got recalled. I could swear I read of people getting sweet Megabass stuff from there other then the levante. Please correct me if I’m wrong. I recommend anyone within a reasonable drive go there just for funzies.

I foolishly tried fishing a jig in the river from the bank. Of course it got broke off. Four days later I foolishly tried to fish another of the same jig. Was able to pull this one free. It somehow got stuck on my other jig and I got them both back. I also caught some line that was attached to a lure my father lost a week before.

Held out all offseason so far, lost myself on a rainy day. This a good start for next season. Couple new things I’m excited to play with. Terrible pic can’t tell what half of it is. I forgot to look for black crank baits.

The distance difference is not mind blowingly further, but it is further. It is pretty effortless though.

Just for fun I would move one of your dc reels to the 705cb. The dc really shines For crank/moving baits. You won’t regret it even for just one day.

&68 custom swim bait I got for Christmas. I’ve bout a couple of the spro rats 304/ sizes a handful of pop Max’s and some jackhammers. The jack hammers I might as well buy 3 go to the lake take the first two out of the package and just throw them in the lake and fish the third one till I loose it. I’m cursed with them. Either snag them or cast them off right away. Supposed to be $68 swim bait and 30/40 size rats. Realistically the money Spent on the same exact soft plastic over and over again Trumps hard bait purchases in most of us I’m sure

Yup, it has to do with not being Able to go fishing. I just need one rod for this off season. I’m holding off for as long as I can When I can go fishing I don’t feel the need for more gear. I’m at the point now where I’m watching other people’s in boxing videos(and that makes me sad).

The carbonlite spinning rods are great. The medium fast and a shimano nasci 2500 size can do allot for $220. I believe it’s 1/8 to 1/2. Great setup

I’m interested in hearing people’s thoughts on the mega bass rod also.

I would go. Try a lipless a jig and a seco or other weightless plastic. Good luck. Supposed to say senco

Those are pretty sweet.

I cast weightless senco’s and rage craws rather well with a Mh carbonlite And currado combo. Senco’s a easy 80/90 feet and the rage craws a bit less but plenty far enough.
