  1. i have one of the smallest charlies, doesnt swim right, sucks.
  2. ive been starting at my baby bass wake but my rod isnt finished yet so ill just keep staring...
  3. The 2" senkos are MUCH skinnier and low-prof then if you took a chunk out of a 4" or 5" senko, FYI
  4. lol you guys crack me up. and for the record, i didnt see it either
  5. wacky works just fine from shore!
  6. nothing wrong with going crazy once in a while ;D good to see that you did stick a pike!
  7. just because TW lists it as a swimbait doesn't make it so ;D anyways, I have a couple of the 4" (firetiger/perch pattern) and I've caught some smallies with them. They have a real "snaky" swimming motion.
  8. i did real well in spring casting and retreiving a spinnerbait AGAINST the current on riprap... go figure.
  9. nitrogrease for slippin' up swimbaits. but i just got some megastrike so that'll be taking over. I havnt found it to actually increase the hit ratio however. smelly jellly craw for my creature baits, but its so messy i never use it anymore.
  10. on the topic of mattlures, some people like the trout series for smallies - they are really thin and fold up better to fit in a smallies mouth.
  11. arg i just bought a tube last week (came in the mail yesterday - a lot bigger than i thought it'd be!). you guys are really outdoing yourselves here! ;D
  12. good perch bait is... perch! After I catch a small one with a worm or jig or whatever, I cut it up and use it as cutbait for more perch. Leave the skin on the little pieces and they stay on the hook much better.
  13. you can also use those weighted hooks like falcon makes to preserve the horizontal fall but adding weight.
  14. no baby bass huh? im on the list
  15. Ouch that sucks man - was the northern lm also on the slammer? It still surprises me they seem to work so well, the way they look and all...
  16. dont get the small size - I have one in perch and it doesnt run correctly at all. :
  17. bpm2000 replied to T-rig's topic in Fishing Reports
    niiice!
  18. what lure is that t-rig? I thought i told you to stop posting these things! $$$$$ ;D
  19. LBH - so what youre saying is: you let the wacky rigged bait fall to its intended location, move it 5-10 feet in subtle twitches, then just reel it back in and do it over again? So you are NOT working the bait all the way back to you? thx!
  20. d**n how long is the rear on that last rod??
  21. I work it just like a mini c-rig: drag it. If theres a current sometimes I like to cast it upstream and let it bounce downstream as well.
  22. nice job man! that looks big to me
  23. that looks like great bass water
