Looking for a Shimano rod that is very similar to the Dobyn's 734. This rod would be the do everything ALL PURPOSE. Interested in the Intenza and Zodias. Here are the lures I want to use...1/2oz swim jig, Underspin, small jointed swimbait, Spro BBZ-1 Baby Shad, Bull Shad, Contender,Spro BBZ-1 Shad Swimbait 4", Savage Gear Hard 4 Play 2.0 Swimbaits, small Glide baits, and Mag Texas Rigs, Buzzbaits, 3/4oz DARK SLEEPER.

Shimano SLX Glass Crankbait 7' MM SLX DC Main purpose: crankbaits, squarebills, lipless 12lb Big Game Mono Shimano Intenza 7'4" HF Curado K XG w/ Scorpion MGL Spool Main purpose: Flipping, pitching, punching, frog rod and large swimbaits/glide baits 65lb braid. Shimano Poison Adrena 7'3" MHF Curado K HG Main Purpose: 1/2oz swim jig, Underspin, small jointed swimbait, small Glide baits, and Mag Texas Rigs, Buzzbaits, 3/4oz DARK SLEEPER (Hanahaze) 17lb Fluoro Shimano Intenza 7'1" MHF Scorpion150 MGL XG Main purpose: Texas-rigs and jigs 30lbs braid (Metanium 20 XG) Shimano Zodias 7'2" MHMF Glass Curado DC 150 Main purpose: spinnerbaits, chatterbaits and swimming jigs 12lb Fluoro G Loomis E6X 802C JWR 6'8" MXF SLX MGL150 HG Main purpose: topwaters, jerkbaits, and fluke (don't laugh, but I use a Lunkerhunt topwater 1/4oz spider on this and it works great!) 12lb Mono Shimano SLX 6'10" MXF Casitas MGL Main purpose: wacky rigs, shaky heads Shimano SLX 7' MedLiteXF Sedona 2500 Main Purpose: Ned Rigs and Drop Shots 15lb braid The grips on the Intenza...yes please!!!

I'm going to buy the Scorpion MGL Spool and put one in my Curado K. I just watched The Reel Test YouTube video comparison. The MGL Spool does in fact fit the Curado K. I flip and pitch with Curado K, so it makes some sense to do that. I know it's just a game of being on the right side of their scheduled delivery dates, obviously I was on the wrong side. I probably won't ever order JDM equipment unless I can find a dealer in the states.

ok, now it's starting to make sense. I ordered on Wednesday at around 9pm. So it was Thursday for them and today was Friday so Saturday for them. I most likely will hear nothing until Monday at very latest, which would be their Tuesday and by Wednesday I should have it by the Japanese Thursday.

When did you order?

I don't know where to post this, I figured equipment would be the best place. Anyway, I was told about the JDM website Asian Portal. I saw what great deals they had on reels, so I bought one. It has been 4 days and I still haven't got any confirmation other than they got my money. On their website some of the features/links are misspelled. Such as they are spelling menu (manu). Oh and the last time I visited their website was 06/02/2021. We are barely done with January. I'm not sure what I got myself into, but I sure regret this whim of getting a cool Shimano Scorpion MGL. Has anyone had any similar experiences with these guys? There is no customer service line to call. I've left half a dozen emails and no response. Any help on the matter would be appreciated.

kind of on the same subject, but will an SLX MGL Spool fit an SLX XT? The frames look almost identical. I'm trying to achieve a poor man's Bantam.

does anybody have top views of a Curado K and Scorpio MGL side by side? Top views and side views. I want to get an idea of the size differences, if any. I was told that the frame of the Scorpion was the same as a Curado K, the only difference was the MGL Spool.

Falcon has a series in Bucoo, Lowrider, and Cara called the Finesse Jig rod in 6'10" Medium Heavy Moderate Fast. I'm thinking about pairing a Bucoo up with an 8 speed SLX MGL.

bought the spool. would love to get line tensioner if they made one for the Casitas.

I was wanting to trick out my Casitas a little bit (new colored drag star and Spool Tension Knob). Do you know if the spool tensioners are universal for Shimano? The one pictured is from Hedgehog.

The Ray's Spool is a steal at that price, you save a little money and it makes a difference. I could tell the difference between the stock spool and Ray's. It's fun to trick out your gear every once in a while.

I don't have any problem with someone who includes scripture in his business. He should probably develop thick skin if he's a YouTuber.

I'm having that problem right now! The place where I occasionally browse is a JDM seller (Asian Portal). They currently are all sold out of right handed everything. I'm not sure if it's frowned on to name drop, but Asian Portal is about the best there is, but their selection is horrible right now.

Serious answer... on the way to the Devil's River, in my home state of Texas, we ate at a Mexican food restaurant, they did something wrong to the beans and for the next 3 hours we drove with the windows rolled down as we all had the gas...I mean bad!!! It was miserable 3 hours!

Soak in Buttermilk for an entire day. Day 2, put them in the turkey frier. Inject with a mixture of orange juice, Kosmos Dirty Bird Sriracha Rub and teriyaki. Let it fry. Take it out and apply Dirty Bird Sriracha Rub to the outside generously!

I like baitcasters. So I'd recommend something in 6'10" MF. I would also recommend an SLX MGL in 7speed.

I love it!!! I knew ole Boomer Sooner would jump into the mix! I always respect your opinions on these matters. Would you mind telling me how you use each reel? What lures you use with each? That would help me tremendously!

C'mon guys I know you have some ideas on this subject. If you could have any modern semi rare or hard to find Shimano baitcaster either JDM or USDM what would you pick? and why? what would you use it for?
