  5. it's almost like ..... they're really good
  6. looks like i'll be buying a few berkley half head jigs for ned rigs since i know they can handle an 8 pounder with proper drag and handling without bending the hook out ?
  7. ned rig's only catch dinks though
  8. I'm saying right now. Wheeler has outshined everyone in the pro's by far the last couple years. KVD hasn't done much of anything the last couple of years. see attached screen grabs for reference. guess which list is for which angler
  9. hands down top bass angler in the world in my humble opinion
  10. jordan already getting absolutely hounded lol
  11. youtubers already on their way
  12. dang, coming right for my throat! i like your style. i’ve owned lews abu and quantum and they were very serviceable and i never said anything bad about them. who put vinegar in your cheerios this morning?
  13. i got a lot of “spoiled brat” vibes and thoroughly enjoyed every second of it
  14. what’s the point? there’s no competing with daiwa and shimano in terms of quality and performance and then you already have the second tier brands like abu garcia, lews, quantum, and okuma that already exist
  15. excited to see how different caney creek fishes compared to d'arbonne
  16. wow gagliardi going wild in the last 15 minutes! he's inside the cut now in 19th!
  17. i'm pushing for matt lee to hop in the top 20 - lets go!
  18. thanks! appreciate it. first time on the river so i'm hoping it goes well. should be a fun experience nonetheless
  19. it's the BASS nation regional june 18th-25th. we're launching out of waddington. general consensus is that fish will be on beds and with me being a co-angler, bed fishing might be tough since i'm sure my boater will be dialed in on beds in front of him. i already know a dropshot with a flat worm will be in my hand 90% of the time
  20. lol drop shot, ned rig, hairjig, wacky rig, and a tube are already going to be tied on. unfortunately i can't live line a goby in a B.A.S.S derby ?
  21. awesome to hear! i'm looking for some alternatives to fish from the back of the boat on the st. lawrence this june that will present the fish with something different looking
  22. 6/0 for what size fluke?
  23. ott's garage is correct
  24. nail weighting the nose of the bait definitely sounds like a more practical method
  25. slowly switching over a lot of my hooks to owner. i do prefer to fish flukes weightless, but for a different look in deeper water i was considering this as an alternative to weightless the more i think about it, the more i think that sacrificing the action might not be worth it
