i like spinning rods over 7 ft. when I am making long casts with keitechs, ned rigs, hair jigs, tubes. i stay with 7 ft. or less rods for target casting, skipping docks, dropshotting.

cool idea. if i ever catch a monster PB in my home state and get a replica mount maid, i'd probably mount the lure alongside it.
