I’m looking for a compact jig similar to the Ike’s mini flip or swim series that I can pitch into lay downs and skip around docks and grass. Typically, I swim a lethal weapon iv and use the same for pitching just about anything but I would like something that is more compact and skips better. Bonus points are a good keeper as I hear the middle baits Kiki keepers aren’t gray nor is the overall quality. I do not like to use superglue. A heavier hook is needed as it’s almost going to be throw on braid to 18lb + leader given the cover. I know there’s small companies that make great stuff so please let me know 

I do something similar and these work well;

Seibert shot caller, Boss Jig head, Hack Attack, Booyah brush.

I grabbed a few from FleaBay, and they are some really good ones, kinda like a Baby Boo with a wired skirt and strong hooks. I don't see them anymore.

I use siebert snipers and boss finesse flips for compact flipping and they swim fine as well. I haven't bent a hook out at all on the BOSS heads even with a flipping stick and 20lb copolymer or 50lb braid..I've caught several bass in cover in the 6+ range on those two heads over the years.

sounds like a job for a siebert sniper jig, you can also take advantage of their sale right now for their blemished versions

Compact jig I like the missile baits mini flip and also one of Molix's jig but can't remember the exact model!  Kento maybe?

Alot of it is personally preference, siebart has a following as most know, you got the baby boo from boo yah, and you got the Strike King Bitsy Flip which I like, there are so many different choices, they all are nice.

Just get some finecut silicone skirts to go with whatever heads you like.

The Molix Kento is one you need to look at.  They're made really well, wire tied with a high quality skirt material.  The head shape makes it really easy to skip.  Not exactly sure how, but they come through wood as good or better then any other jig I use. The only drawback is that it has a standard collar keeper that works well enough if the plastic isn't shot.  I like my keitech, DJs and Greenfish jigs but if I had to 1 jig to do it all it would be a Kento jig.  

FYI: The 1/4oz kentos are considerably smaller the Ikes mini flip where as the 3/8 and 1/2 kentos are about roughly the same size.

awesome quality, super compact because it is tungsten. the keeper is also very good, i can snap a picture of it later on.

 I just picked up a couple of these and while I won’t be able to get them wet till spring I would agree that they are quality and they are very compact

That's great they have the 3/16oz weight.  I'll admit I'm too cheap to pay $5 for a jig though...I assemble my own with boss/picasso/chompers heads.

The Boss Dock Knocker is my all time favorite all around jig head.

Another vote for Sieberts.  I have yet to find their equal in price and quality.
