  1. i have a few and i like them! the screw lock keeper is fantastic
  2. check out the daiwa tatula elite line. the brent ehrler 7'3 medium heavy all purpose rod might be one of my favorites that i own. i throw weightless plastics, texas rigs, jigs, paddle tails, chatterbaits, spinnerbaits all on this one rod. $180.00 price point you can't beat it
  3. ^ i'd double down and agree here
  4. what is the top of what you’re willing to spend?
  5. i reel down my slack and send it especially when flipping and pitching
  6. after further thought and consideration i'll most likely be throwing soft jerkbaits on my 7'3 MH tatula elite since i beef my EWG up to add weight to the "weightless" rig
  7. i hate to tell you my friend, but you’ll never be done!
  8. also in colder water try to lengthen your pause in between your twitches to even as long as 8-10 seconds. most times you’ll get a nice reaction bite after that bait has been soaking for a bit. let the fish tell you what they want!
  9. definitely looking for more of a medium, fast action rod when throwing hard jerkbaits
  10. i do have my 7’3 MH tatula elite i can use, especially with a heavier gauge hook that i can get a nice hook set on to drive that hook in.
  11. heavier gauge EWG to give it some weight
  12. looks completely different to me. the whole underside of the flat worm is flat and has a bulbous tail which seems complete opposite of what the yamamoto shade shape worm is
  13. do you guys use the same rod length/action for your hard jerkbaits and soft jerkbaits? throwing a hard jerkbait is one of my favorite ways to catch green and brown fish, but i'm going to make it a conscious effort to throw more soft jerkbait style baits this upcoming season. i know lot's of guys throw flukes on spinning gear opposed to casting, but i feel much more efficient on my casting gear in this regard. my current jerkbait setup is a 6'6 medium fast action daiwa tatula casting rod with a 6.3.1 tatula CT
  14. i went on a guided trip on chickamauga couple years back and used some of my own gear, and the guides gear. he had no issue with it and encouraged me to try my own stuff in certain situations.
  15. at least my odd's of catching a 15-16 pounder are better than winning powerball!
  16. if i have an extra bag laying around i’ll throw it in the box with the reel i’m sending you
  17. it is a phenomenal bait that’s bailed me out on multiple occasions. granted i’ve also caught probably just as many dropshotting on a zoom finesse worm.
  18. the hottest dropshot bait on the market that was sold out everywhere for a long time due to its incredible fish catching abilities and most importantly…… massive pro influence!
  19. i'd love to hear how many of you guys bought flat worms over the last year?
  20. jackall bling is at the top of my list - they’re a super hot commodity
  21. I figured a pretty big face in the pro game switching up their title sponsor would be juicy discussion. not sure why there are so many disgruntled folks here lol
  22. i have more confidence in warts than shad raps, and when i do crank which isn’t very often, i stick with my confidence. hard to beat the hunting action on a wiggle wart
  23. i always get a ton of BPS/cabelas gift cards every year from family and friends. i ended up raffling them on a facebook page i’m on for cash, and bought a 6’6 medium tatula rod for jerkbaits, two fuego 3000 spinning reels, and some misc. tackle from other retailers
