Hi from Europe (Italy)

Hi there,

my name is Chris, 38 years old, a German guy living in Italy. I fish since I can remember, it all started with my Grandfather when I was about 4-5years old probably and I'm still here trying to understand how to fool fish ?

I do mostly lure fishing, spinning and casting alike, I prefer UL setups or BFS if casting, I normally hunt for trout in streams and creeks, chubs and some bass, also do a lot of Sea fishing trying to get some bluefish and seabass for the most.

Hope to get some help here for fishing in the US, will come over several times a year for work and I'd like to get some travel gear to use during my free time.

Thx!

Welcome aboard!

Guides will provide your gear, you don't need to bring it/ buy it.

Willkommen! I used to live in Germany a long time ago and by far it’s my favorite European country. Feel free to ask your questions and to take advantage of all the knowledge here. There are a lot of threads on travel rods here that a few searches should pull up too.

Thank you very much for the warm welcome, doesn't happen very often to get so many when subscribing to a new forum lately.

I have made a post with some questions, maybe some Florida guys can help me out? Here's the link, any help is greatly appreciated:

Buon giorno und guten tag! There's tons of info on this site and a lot of very helpful people too. I hope you enjoy your visits to the US as much as I enjoy my visits to Europe.
