looks like a gardening tool lol
  2. anyone have any experience with these, specifically in 3/32oz weight with a fluke?
  3. change your username to AManFishingAnEWG
  4. reminds me of a thicker suction cup material which is usually silicone
  5. the fish catching may be slow, but david dudley is a riot
  6. find a daiwa fuego on sale. in my opinion the best $100 reel and it's not even close
  7. the price is crazy, the size is crazy. i bet they've sold a bunch to enthusiasts though. to each their own!
  8. i don't call many things bass fishing related stupid, but that is stupid
  9. as long as the grass is healthy and alive, it SHOULD hold fish in or around, even in the winter time. like others said, i would tick the top with a trap or a swimjig and then focus on where deeper water relates to it and throw a ned rig, blade bait, or a dropshot
  10. awesome stuff! my home lake is the largest in connecticut and is man made. there are countless foundations, road beds, bridge pilings, stone walls, and tons of other unique cover in the depths! https://candlewoodlakeauthority.org/History-of-the-Lake
  11. lake d’arbonne in louisiana, but i believe they are switching lakes after the knockout rounds
  12. colder water i'd opt for the adrenaline bug for less action in the water. when i want more action and floating claws i'd go with the muscle back craw.
  13. if i'm fishing a tournament and skunk out, i'd get pretty upset. not to the point of where i am raging, but a huge sense of disappointment at least for the rest of the day lol. if i'm fun fishing, not so much. either way, i'm out enjoying the outdoors, and it sure beats a day at work!
  14. me sitting on the couch making fun of all the guys who can't catch one fish while i get skunked half the time i go out
  15. i'm in the market to add some flat sides. i'm grabbing a couple of the jackall bling 55's once they drop (hopefully) and then i'm between the 2 different sizes of the rapala OG's, and the spro little johns. i might have to add the frittside to the list ?
  16. adding another spinning rod and starting to stockpile more flat worms for the B.A.S.S. nation regional on the St. Lawrence June 18-25th ?
  17. i've had it playing in the background on my computer at work. it's been a snooze fest so far. might be even worse when they move to a new lake after this set of rounds
  18. how heavy of a jig are you looking to throw? i'd go with a medium heavy to heavy rod depending on the weight of the jig and the rod manufacturer, paired with 15-17 pound fluorocarbon. i'd also look into a tungsten football head for added sensitivity. beast coast fishing makes a few tungsten football head jigs specifically for this.
  19. i've tried so many weightless stick baits and for the life of me cannot find one that produces like an original senko. granted i do use yum dingers once in a while when neko rigging or just flipping in grass or brush
  20. mike iovino aka "fishing with weensie" on instagram and facebook. you can find him and more info on his pages. he is a tournament angler and guide here in CT. he ties and sells to a ton of anglers including some pros in the elites and MLF. (no he is not related to the great don iovino ?)
  21. i'd rather just stick with seaguar, sunline, p-line, sufix, and powerpro when it comes to line.
  22. awesome to see! i honestly am grateful to be a part of such a great community. it’s wild how by just seeing a username and avatar on forum turns into feeling like you actually know the person! cheers to 2022 bass resource!
  23. check out americanbassanglers.com and check out the PA division
