Pretty accurate for this year especially.

Wheeler on track for another automatic championship birth. It will be a shame if he gets all these auto births but cannot get the "W". It is good for AOY points though.

Tough choice....
When I looked up the differences etc between AT and LiveScope, there was a pretty good argument that was made that Lowrance AT can see further out in multiple videos comparing the two FFS. I went with AT because I had new HDS units so it made sense.

2022 in Central Indiana is underway
Yea I hear ya. I think I will be a bit protected in the creek from all the wooded areas around me, but I am hoping the water gets moving with the wind. The smallmouth will come alive in that current I bet. Good luck to you!

Oakley Prizm shallow water lenses
I have em, and I love them. I am too cheap for Costas. I get the Oakleys from US standard issue as a Veteran I get a good discount on them. This is the 2nd year I will be using them. No complaints at all.

Nice! I will be out this weekend fishing the Wildcat for some smallmouth. It is supposed to be close to 70* or so. Whereabouts in Central Indiana are you?

Smith lake is always interesting. I have stayed on this lake multiple times and fished, and I have never caught anything over 2.5lbs. It will be interesting to see the weights, with all the spotted bass, and the 1 pound 8 ounce requirement.

Seaguar Tatsu or something else for main line
I think it really depends on what your using it for. I typically use the Red Label because of the cost factor, and I re-spool at least a couple times a year. I also like Suffix Advanced. If I were using FC in heavy cover, then I may use something with better abrasion qualities, but I have never had issues with the Red Label and it saves me money, but again I think it depends on what your doing with it.

Boat Covers
I guess it is like $1,200 for a boat cover my boat. Any recommendations for a non custom cover? I have a 2021 Triton 19 TR Patriot. I am looking online and there are a ton of places who make covers.

MLF Bass Pro Tour Toro Stage Two on Lake Fork, TX ~
JR is due, but I cannot bet against my fellow born Hoosier in Wheeler....

Or the sight fishing rule...where it has to be hooked in the mouth

I still think Wheeler is going to come out swinging here in the later periods. The dude is a hammer, and he mentioned he had more spots to check out when he was "practicing" during day 2 of qualifying.

I did not see DC get it, I was like 3 minutes late, but I know he was excited!

When do you use braid and when do you use straight fluorocarbon?
I agree with everything here. I would think though if you are using large / heavy swimbaits, then straight braid may not be a bad deal because you get no line stretch. The braid will instantly ensure that hook penetration.

That's It! I'm Taking It In!
Glad you got it worked out. Electrical stuff is so hit or miss. I can wire in new switches and outlets in the house no problem. I had an electrical issue on my brand new boat a day after I took it off the lot. It ended up being something stupid (in-line fuse was loose), but nonetheless I could not figure it out mainly because I could not see it. Boat wiring is crazy because there is so much going on in a small cramped space. Not bad on the pricing you got either!

If Wheeler can keep this momentum going, it will not take long before we have the Lebron vs MJ GOAT debate between Wheeler and KVD. The fact that he is having this kind of run so young is really cool to see.

I need my active target dialed in like he does for sure. Or just use it half way as as good as he does.

DC caught a 10 in practice! I can’t wait to see a DD on this one.

Why Do You Use Braid?
I used to use braid a lot more than I do now. It is on my top water rigs, and one flipping setup. I think the non stretching attribute, and the ability like mentioned to cut through pads etc are what makes it really great.

Uncommon bladed jig trailers...
I will add to this... The flat body shape of the Eeliminator allows the chatterbait or bladed jig to go over cover well like logs etc and also to ride higher in the column if rigged flat. Rotate it and give it less drag in the water and it will run deeper with no effect on the tails action. Also this gives the 3/8 a bit more weight so it helps in my opinion to skip it under docks with a casting rod. The colors are also a plus as they work well with many different setups!

This is my go to every time!

Powder paint quality
If you are just looking for powder, check out Prismatic Powders. They have over 6500 colors to choose from to include clears. (I use to own a custom powder coating shop).

BPT - Stage One
Yea I figured the bite would pick up this afternoon. Absolute hammers being caught right now. I am shocked though at some of the names with 0 so far.

BPT - Stage One
With the looks of it, today may be tough until the afternoon. I wonder if it will be a crazy last 45 minutes, where the score tracker is just lighting up. That would be exciting to see.
