  1. It's against my religion to not be on the water before sunrise. ? Unless it's Summer time, then it's moon rise.
  2. I've seen the Jellyfish in Lake Juliette in Middle Georgia. Scooped up one in a cup so I could get a close up look. Buddy had told me he saw them a few days prior and I told him he was crazy that the Summer heat had cooked his brain.
  3. Gonna hunt tomorrow but Sunday I'll be at the lake Dark & Early. The water finally dropped below 70 Tuesday, so it's bout to get good. Goodluck everybody.
  4. That's all I've got to say about that.
  5. I flip my braid on the lake. Remove lure, pull 20' off into the water, hold the end, idle until I get to my braid/mono knot, cut and retie knot, and reel it in. It's the quickest way I've found, takes just a couple minutes.
  6. Yes sir that'd be me. Been fishing Juliette once or twice a week for 20+ years. 5 days a week in the Spring.
  7. I'd suggest you grab a pack of Storm Suspenstrips(lead tape) so you can tune whichever JB you get. You can tune them to slow sink, suspend, or possibly slow float if you fish mono and light hooks . I fish MB and most all the others listed above and they all catch fish.
  8. I twitch rip baits and rip twitch baits. I like to show them something different.JK?. Same bait to me.
  9. Shimano Stradic Ci4+ 1000 on a 2.0 Carbonlite 6'9" Med/light fast with 8lb Fireline Ultra 8 to 6lb Seaguar fluorocarbon
  10. BPS 100 MPH Suit for 40 and under Frabill F1 for warmer days
  11. Favorite- 1/8 oz Tungsten bullet in front of a 7/0 EWG with a 10-14" ribbon tail at night Most Productive- Ned TRD
  12. Plastic tote, wood dowel, and wire. Just lift out the dowel that has the lure I want fish. Holds 18-20 baits.
  13. The 2500 is a great do it MOST size. Picked up a St. Croix Mojo Bass 7'1" Med and it's a lovely pair.
  14. Long long time ago I bought a Bill Dance baitcast combo. I thought it must be great if Ol Bill fishes with it. Right!
  15. Buck Eye Spot Remover Pro & Owner Ultra both in 1/8 oz 90% of the time. When I go big it's a Dirty Jigs Mag Horseshoe Shakey or Owner Mag Football Shaky with 8" to 12" baits.
  16. Goodluck Paul. Be safe.
  17. Anyone I'm willing to take fishing has no money left to spend on alcohol after their weekly tackle orders. No alcohol is allowed on my boat... Had a long time friend meet me at the lake one evening for a night trip and had already drank his drink because I wouldn't allow it, left him standing on the dock with his mouth hanging open. I do fish with a bud once a week that's serious bass only but he fishes the same places year round. I happily fish alone the rest of the time and fish where I want, as long as I want, with what I want.
  18. The night before a trip all reels going get a couple squirts of KVD L & L.
  19. I don't use any silly app. If my cows are standing I go fish, if my cows are laying down I go fish, if my cows are eating I go fish, if my cows are on somebody's plate being eaten I go fish.
  20. What's a Whopper Plopper? JK. I'll get me a couple on my next order. Thanks
  21. Super Fluke has been my MVL for years. The Shakey Head tries hard but the Fluke is just too consistent.
  22. Get your health straightened out so you can fish harder, faster, and longer next season. I will pray for you OTP.
  23. I throw jerkbaits around cover, over weeds, along weed edges, and points. But I have on several occasions caught Spotted Bass over 80 FOW, so I'll give it a throw whenever the Solix shows fish.
