  1. A little bit more than alot.
  2. Somewhere between 50 - 60 combos. Fish too many different bodies of water to have go to rigs(ponds, rivers, swamps, clear, muddy, etc).
  3. I run a 80 lb on my 1448 and fish solo. I'd get the maximum lbs you can afford and feed with the batteries you have.
  4. You need a designated caster or cast left handed for an hour then swap to right handed.? Seriously I had bad forearm pain a couple years from casting big baits and changing my casting mechanics alleviated the pain.
  5. Caught 23 this morning, between 6 -10:30 am on horny toads & a Jackall Gavacho at my 4' deep 88 degree beaver pond. Big fish was 3 lb 14 oz. Going tonight at 10 pm to a big deep clear lake that's 86 degrees. The daylight bite has really dropped off so I'm going nocturnal. If possible try different bodies of water at different times and you'll cross paths with feeding fish.
  6. Oh. Get her drunk then go to the lake when she passes out.?
  7. I'd go to the lake and think about it while fishing. If you decide going fishing is the answer, you're already there.
  8. You're lucky my Curado HG K never has performed well with lighter baits. Tried everything but new bearings.
  9. Gave my buoys away. Pull up the chart, troll into position and hit ⚓ on the Minn Kota 3/4 of a cast away from my waypoint. I had reflective tape on a couple buoys and even with a weak headlight you had no problem seeing them. Goodluck.
  10. Missile Baits Micro jigs would likely produce for you in those scenarios. I tip mine with the 1&1/4" tail of a worn out Trick worm. Works great on light line, I fish 10 lb braid to 6 lb FC. A small popper is always good to have on hand. Goodluck.
  11. 96 in Mid Ga today. Worked on my boat in the shop for 6 hours and it was hot.
  12. I'd top it off with cheap mono and the next time I go to the lake tie to a cleat and idle until the spools empty, cut fluoro at the spool, tie the mono to the spool and reel it in. Hope that makes sense.
  13. I tried it for one trip fishing big swimbaits and quickly shortened it to prevent it entering the spool after it took a chunk of thumb meat. 8 or 9' is just gonna have to work for me.
  14. My reels get a couple squirts of KVD L & L before every trip on whatever it's spooled with (braid, fluoro, mono, or copolymer).
  15. I don't fish lighter than 30 lb braid on BC. I recently swapped from 65 lb Power Pro to 50 lb J Braid and it cast much better. I think mostly due to the spool not being almost emptied on a long cast.
  16. Very nice! I looked at a Ranger 521 but felt like I'd be down grading from my Lowe 1448.?
  17. Frog, Toad, & Super Fluke. Sounds like my beaver pond, but it's much deeper at 4'.
  18. All black clothing is beneficial in that type of situation.............. I'm joking of course.
  19. Just get you a set of kick fins and you'll be golden. Careful, it's probably not even a little hook resistant.
  20. Night fishing not an option? Every Summer I wind up going nocturnal when the heat starts getting to be too much at 9 or 10 am. Trips from 1 am to 8 am are cooler and much more productive. I load up and head home after the morning fishermen launch. Yes Climate change is real, around here we call it Seasons.
  21. I agree with the above statement. I'm assembling a 1436 LT and to mount my seat bases, I'm cutting access holes in the back of the seats which will be covered with aluminum. I'm also putting .125 aluminum under and on top of the factory seat to strengthen it. The factory seat is only slightly thicker than a beer can.
  22. That will not work. Prove me wrong. Awaiting pics.?
