All spinning reels gets braid to leader and my frog rods are straight braid. Everything else is a mix of FC & mono. Not a fan of the knot clicking through the guides on my casting rods.

Had a hornet tag me on the right shoulder while fishing in the black of night. It must of been as big as a Fruit Bat because my whole arm went numb for half an hour. Pretty sure it hit a nerve and the bone with it's stinger.?

Yes either cast 1/3 oz with the right rod. I regularly throw 1/8 Spinnerbaits and 1/10 Ned TRD's on my 70 MGL.

I've got a few Sharpfingers for skinning and they work fine.

I've sharpened my EDC and hunting knives with a 12" ceramic filament I removed from a large light bulb for the last 20 years and they'll shave. Kitchen knives get sharpened on a Chef's Choice.

I always carry and it's they're never out of my control. Some folks logic really puzzles me. I saw a local off duty Sheriff's deputy I've known forever the other day so I spun around as he pulled into a store to holler at him. I parked beside him and was looking at his open top/no door Jeep and there's a LCP in in one cup holder and a Glock 19 in the other. He'd already headed inside the store and left both unsecured loaded and chambered handguns in wide open view of anybody to see or permentally borrow. I waited 10 - 12 minutes on him to come back out and ask him what in the #@!a was he thinking. He had no answer to explain away that kind of carelessness.
