Yes. Decoy Egg Snaps on big hard swimbaits and VMC's on standard size hard baits. NOTE - Snaps do not eliminate the need to retie occasionally.

You're correct I saw old info on the water temp. Thank you for the info and offer, but I can't venture too far away and can only fish til lunch(may try to squeeze in 3 mornings).

I headed up to Blue Ridge for a week and I'm taking my boat. I see that the water temp is 47 and just over 5' below full pool. Hoping to get two days of fishing in. Any and all tips on baits, areas to fish, etc. Will be appeciated.

Better things to worry about. Like, do I get two breakfast sandwiches or one breakfast sandwich and grits and eggs on the way to the lake in the morning.?

I always take a Fluke or Spinnerbait to cast while giving my body a little break.

That's only a medium sized 7". I do enjoy the bigger than average fish. Caught these two before I came to my senses and swapped.

I find it hilarious that people are so overly concerned about how others like their steak. I'm a well done steak guy with 57 sauce. Many of the folks I know that love raw steaks for the tenderness also love beef jerky. Logical in their nugget, I guess.

The only local small bait/lure shop around here is right up from the lake and is too high. I'd pay 10 - 15% more but he's 45 - 55% over regular price so .....

Fished my close to home lake(rare) yesterday from 630 am - 430 pm and coerced 11 to hit a Flatlands swing head/TRD. A cold front had dropped the heavy stained water 5 degrees and the fish were upset. Air temp 33. Water temp 67.

I'm not sure where I purchased the materials to rebuild the burners, but it wasn't Zippo branded. My RAM is weak.

Definitely worth it to me. But hasn't beat my PB caught on a BPS stick - o. As softwateronly has already stated, my average weigh is also higher on swimbaits. It's just another tool that's the best tool at times, but not always.
