05 Mercury 2 stroke. If I have to pull it twice to start it it's because I forgot to squeeze the primer bulb. I can't imagine the hours I've put on in almost 18 years. I choose it due to hp limit on my boat and primary lake.

Yes. Never caught a Smallmouth but have fished for hours and caught 1 or 2 Spots or LM then the switch flips and catch 15 bass in 20 minutes.

For LM at night I throw a 10 - 15.25" ribbon tails T - Rig, bulky Jig/trailer, Buzzbait quad blade with & without a clacker, big crawler, and a T - Rigged Kinky Beaver. I always use a tungsten Bullet weight with a clacker on my T - Rigs. For Spots it's a Shakey Head, Ned, or smaller jig as I've only ever caught them on the bottom at night after trying a plethora of top & mid column baits. It's not a bad idea to have a couple fried bologna sandwiches for a 2:30am break.?

This is my fishing 83 year old bud Craig, he approached me one day at the BPS with the look of a child that'd been lost in the woods for days. I spent some time talking/showing him baits/techniques. Two weeks later he had a boat and was raring to go. It's been over two years and the bait monkey has got a pretty good grip on him. He loves some Whopper Plopper and Jerkbait fishing.

Caught a few on top in the rain and white caps today.

-Click my headlight on when I hook a fish through the release. - I've found lights have a negative impact on fish in the clear water I fish. Less so in muddy/stained waters. - Stopping the lure is all about timing for me. Fishing a New Moon with a black buzzbait/ big worm/jig with no lights, it's really the only option. - I use heavier gear at night.

Never stop. Transition to night fishing when it starts hitting 90(air) at 10am.

Paused from roughly 23 - 25 years old for 24 months and it about killed me, mentally, spiritually, and physically. I was working on my A & P license, working 40 hours on one job(Lowes)(weekdays), and 20 hours on another job(repairing crashed planes)(weekends). Between school, both jobs, and driving it was 100 hour weeks. I made up for missing so much fishing after getting my license and only had to work. I was at the lake 3 days one week and 4 the next for a while.

Left to Right for a Feeding strike. Right to Left for a Reaction strike. Is that not common knowledge?
