my worm weights are getting tiny as i go.
90% of the time I fish 1/8 & 3/16. I move up to 1/4 & 3/8 for deeper water.

Not Today Pine Tar
When the temps start dropping, I start backing my truck and trailer into the parking spot at the lake. I'm sure folks think, look at that parking job, but I've learned my lesson. The pine tar is very ugly on black.

How many rods/reels is enough???
9 - 14 if I take 3 or 4 big swimbait rigs. 12 - 14 if I don't take my big swimbait rigs.

Shimano World Pop
I fish Ricos and they're about the same $ so yeah I'll be getting some. Plus being Shimano it'll match up nicely with my Aldebaran and Zodias.

Surface Rust
I explain to all new tackle in a firm calm voice that there be "NO RUSTING". Don't act like the rest of y'all don't talk to your gear. ?

have you EVER bought anything significant from a door to door salesperson?
Never. Prior to the Virus hitting I took my doorbell button down. I got so fed up with folks waking me up between 12 - 16 hour shifts sometimes 7 days a week. I was lucky to get 4 hours after feeding up the cattle, dogs, eating, showering, etc. I'll reinstall the button when we move out.

Pond! Lo!
Nice. Looking forward to some pics.

Clip on cap light
I've had a few clip on over the years and they either don't put out enough light, are too delicate, or have tiny controls( I want a big button so I can quickly turn it on while netting a fish). I also will not do rechargeable with a healight. I sometimes fish all night and take spare batteries. Goodluck.

My first Big Bass!
Excellent!

Does anyone else find prepping their tackle box oddly satisfying and supergluing plastics to jig heads therapeutic?
I enjoy a couple hours of prep before every trip(1 - 3 times a week year round) and a 4 - 6 hour prep at the change of seasons. I find I can't sleep if I haven't retied every knot and double checked my loadout.

6 years in the making and FINALLY my new PB
Excellent! Great fish! That "dumb grin" is why we all do it.

Broiled Bass
Our surface temps hit 91 - 93 every Summer and I'll catch bass right on the bank with a Buzzbait at night.

Going night fishing on a lake known for docks...what would be your top baits?
I installed green LEDs on my boat with a rheostat switch to adjust the brightness to as dim as I can get away with and accurately cast to docks.

Going night fishing on a lake known for docks...what would be your top baits?
A simple 1/8 oz Shakey Head has produced many many bass for me around docks at night with & without lights. Alot of folks put brush piles out in front of their docks and they shouldn't be overlooked. Many times I've fished behind people at night and out fished them because they postioned their boat unwittingly on top of the brush pile to fish the dock and then moved on.

Changing out new hooks??
I change hooks on my big swimbaits before ever fishing them. Standard baits I'll change them as they bend or break. With the big baits I'm grinding them in with minimal drag to prevent thrown baits. Standard baits I'll play them and give them more drag which reduces bent hooks.

Electronics
Same can be said for square footage of a house, horsepower of car/truck/boat motor, boat size, etc. The companies are in it for $'s and folks are buying them, so it's not stopping anytime soon. I actually know folks that drive Ford & Dodge trucks but I don't call them crazy, cause it's their money.?

Pick Up Trucks
I can squeeze four 8' swimbait rigs in the cab of my crew cab Chevy. I slip the handles under the left rear passenger seat and the tips toward the front passenger windshield.

James Webb Space Telescope
Just learn and start practicing Remote Viewing. You can go and see anywhere. It's great for checking water clarity before arriving at the lake.

Just think of all the virgin water.
