I throw my Megadog on a Tranx 400A and Daiwa DXSB heavy rod. I'm able to really launch it with this combo so the line capacity of the 400 is a plus. It's not as big as it used to be to me.

I've never been a Trilene user, just started with Stren and it worked. For mono on standard gear I fish Stren Original.
