  1. I really have no idea of what you have done but I'd really like to see some pics. Find a photo hosting site, put your pics on it and them copy them to this one.
  2. Brand---mine Color--- red/black, chart/blue, chart/white, chart, lime greeen, black, golden shiner but mostly white Blades---Single willow, colorado, indiana Double willow, colorado, willow/colorado More than 2 willow Sizes----1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 and 1 oz but mostly 3/8
  3. Get some good marine silicone and just fill them in, let them dry and sand flush.

It is one of my favorite combinations. I keep some made up in plastics all of the time.
  5. They are better than they used to be. A couple of my friends are now running the Z8s with 225 Optimax Mercs. They seem well built. They used to be very low quality and didn't hold up well. They also were completely under powered like they were designed for a first buyer who didn't know much. That also made them the fastest depreciating boat on the market. I haven't checked that lately and hope they are doing better.
  6. Taking off the old isn't hard to do. Get some lacquer thinner, pour it over a place, give it a few seconds then lift the old carpet off. Take a spackling knife and remove the glue residue. Let it dry then put on glue and carpet. Don't do this indoors unless you have a death wish.
  7. Same day a big cat.
  8. Here is a spoonbill swimming under my boat.
  9. The down scan and side scan units run on way different frequencies than 2d sonar so you won't get interference from them.
  10. I've had mine for about 5 years. It is the best scale that I have ever used. It also works for holding a fish that has a multiple hook bait in its mouth.
  11. If you go for a 2 stroke be sure to get the direct injection engine not electronic fuel injection. They are as easy on gasoline as 4 strokes. I have been running the same 2 stroke direct injection engine for 11 years and if I keep the rmps 4500 and below it gets very good mileage. WOT is a whole different issue but I don't fish derbys so I rarely need WOT.
  12. My boat is bigger than that so I'd only be guessing. My Champion 206 was bid in at a fiberglass shop for $1000. If your boat dealership doesn't have an inhouse carpet guy, go find someone yourself as the dealership will likely up charge you 10-20% for just making a phone call or two.
  13. I don't know about the potty cleaner but limeaway is fine to use on the cowling. Like stated earlier I have been using it for 10 years on my Optimax.
  14. Meguires mirror glaze is the best thing going for vinyl. If it were me I clean the seats then remove them if the boat is going to be in storage.
  15. I just cleaned my boat and motor yesterday after a 5 week fishing trip where it was in and out of the water daily and setting on the trailer in a campground. I put limeaway on a wet rag and wiped everything down then rinsed it off. It looks great.
  16. Ted I have been using Lime Away on my Champion for 11 years. I use it on the motor and on the boat. It does a great job of cleaning. I never wax my boat. I have tried lots of products and Bow to Stearn is the best I have used. I switched to it from BBS because it lasts longer and the cleanup when I get home is a wet rag and a towel.
  17. I know nothing about keeping a bass in a fish tank except here in MO one has to get a permit from the Conservation Department in order for that to be legal.
  18. I wear rain gloves from US Gloves. Sometimes they are in the golfing department at Bass Pro. They run me around $12 per pair. I have been using them for at least 10 years.
  19. When I first started night fishing I practiced in my yard by making casts with my eyes closed. When I got comfortable with that I could go whether or not there was a moon. It just takes repitition and you will get to where you are very comfortable under any conditions.
  20. Forget the settings and use the 10 amp.
  21. I don't go fishing to chat. I go to fish. I try to go where no one else is if I can. I want to plan and think. I don't even run the radio on the way there as it might interfere with my thoughts.
  22. Just buy some other colors.
  23. I always buy stainless screws for that kind of job.
  24. I run a MG TE82 and pull a 20.5 boat. I have had it for 11 years and have used a few different batteries. I fish 80-100 days per year and fish in a lot of windy conditions. I fish into the wind so I really pull batteries hard. I got tired of the mess of lead acid batteries so I tried the AGMs a couple of years ago. I bought Optima blue top from Auto Zone. Even though their listed reserve capacity is quite a bit less than I am used to, I haven't been able to tap their strength. They are as strong when the day ends as they were when the day began. When I need another set, I'll go back to Auto Zone and buy more Optimas. I don't run an Optima on the cranker because I have a bunch of electronics and a 225 Optimax which takes a lot of juice to start. There I have the Sears Die Hard 1150 CCA AGM.
