  2. I wear the inflatables in the winter when the water is cold and I am fishing by myself. During those times I don't run over 35 mph. When the water and air are warm I run faster and use the regular pfds.
  3. I'm not familiar with your mold or hooks but I do a lot of hook bending to make them fit my molds. As long as I bend slowly and only bend once it works fine without heat. I have done a lot of 28° to 60° when low on hooks.
  4. Lure Craft has them on sale for $32 right now.
  5. *can i use two regular hand injectors to do laminate pours or can i just buy an adaptor? That depends on the type of molds and the type of injectors. For some it takes different tips and an adapter. If it is a pour mold take it apart pour one side, put it together and then pour the other side. You might even be able to do that with an injector. *what's the best plastic material? I like Calhoun's medium *do aluminum molds work better than plaster molds? About the same as a jet plane compared to a Corvair, Ugo or Omni depending on your knowledge base.
  6. I do the same as BigM. You could add solder at the joint and it would hold.
  7. It all depends on just what you mean by bulk (10s, 100s, or 1000s). I'd give Gman and Cadman a shot if it were me. They are both good guys who are around this forum quite a bit.
  8. I have been running a Dual Pro for 9 years. If mine ever goes out, I'll but another one. Get a bank for every battery in the boat. Get a 10-15 amp per bank charger.
  9. Networked, etherneted Lowrance gps/sonar units.
  10. I never go bass fishing without at least one tube tied on. Right now I have 2 ready to go in the boat for today's trip. I make my own and try to keep the colors simple smoke, green pumpkin, pumpkin seed, black neon mainly.
  11. On my MG there are two 6g. wires and the plug is a 3 plug single gang twist lock. The jump is done at the batteries to make 24V.
  12. I tried it but didn't much care for it.
  13. You can add Buster Loving Jerry Snyder and Tim Sainato to that list. If I were hiring it would be Babler or Loving.
  14. The mold you need to buy depends on what and how you fish. Three common ones are arke, football, and posion tail. I personally like the posion tail best but you have to buy 2 molds to get much choice in sizes. www.fishingskirts.com is the best place I have found to buy silicone tabs.
  15. My 225 Opti was giving me a low oil last year. I took it to a local shop and they had it on muffs for over an hour trying to figure out the problem. It wouldn't over heat and kept oiling but the buzzer kept going off. It turned out to be the float in the upper oil tank. But it still cost me $100 for the muff time.
  16. It would for me. I have IMXs and Avids. Though the Avids are good rods I'll take the IMXs any day.
  17. It looks like you are in the get on the lake mode for sure. Congrats. A few maintainance things to think about: Lower unit fluid (should be changed yearly), spark plugs (should be changed yearly), and water pump impellor (should be changed every 3 years). On the power trim: trim it down all the way when you take off. Slowly raise the front of the boat until it runs smoothly. Trim back down as you slow the boat down. You will get the hang of it in short order.

If you want to get in cheaply and have any kind of vice, I suggest wire tying. To string tie you will need thread, bobbin, vice, and large whip. To wire tie you need any kind of vice wire and a couple of pairs of pliers.
  19. Typically the problem is some kind of debris in the intake hole. Get a 1/8 or smaller drill bit. Use your fingers not a drill or pliers. Slowly screw it into the water intake hole about 1/4" then pull it out. Keep going deeper until you have the hole cleaned out and see if that is a fix.
  20. I use the braid for its sensitivity. I use leaders on it for their invisibility. I fish clear water and need all the advantages I can get. I catch a lot more fish with a leader on braid than on just braid.
  21. I was on it this morning and just got off a few seconds ago. No problems.
  22. X2 I use 5 or 6 different ones depending on the jig.
  23. Yep that's what I use.

I have 2 of Bears no cut tube molds and am planning to buy 2 more. If you buy them you will also need an injector.
  25. If you can only have one then 1/16 oz if two then 1/32 also.
