Heavy rains
We fished muddy water yesterday. The surface temp was 56°. It was very windy but when we could find a spot out of the wind we caught fish. They were in the rocks in less than 10 feet of water.

Jig mold help
There are many choices. What shape of head, what kind of line tie, what weight range? You will probably get a lot of different answers. On the subject of pouring, do you have the equipment or using someone else’s? Do you have experience in lead pouring? FYI: You are about to head down a rabbit hole.😀

How to store/organize plastics
I keep mine in see through boxes out of the original packages. I can grab a box open it, take out the bait, and tie it on before my partner can even locate the bait in its package.

Getting the jig figured out

Advice for Xpress Hyperlift Size
I’ve only had experience with an 18’. It had a Yamaha 115 on it. It ran good and handled well. It had the lift of a glass boat. It fished well and had big rod lockers. Like any other aluminum it blew around in the wind.

Skirt threading tool.....endless possibilities
If you have any stainless steel wire you can make one of those tools. Just fold it and squeeze it together with pliers. It will go past center and form the perfect end. Shape the middle and put on any kind of handle.

5" senkos with a 2 piece cnc mold - struggling
Thanks for the pic. 300° seems very hot for the mold before shooting. I try to heat mine to where I can pick them up with bare hands. If you haven’t already done so a little cooking oil or worm oil will help the plastisol flow freer. I dip the tip of the mandrel on my tubes before each shoot to avoid partials.

I’m glad you got it figured out. Can you post a pic of the stick bait mold?

Get food grade diatomaceous earth sprinkle it where they walk. It is harmless to people and pets but deadly to animals with exoskeletons.

New tires for Ranger Cayman 223
I was in the garage cleaning the boat trailer wheels and shining the tires. I checked the brand they are the Goodyear Endurance so I think we both have good tires.

Black Boat Interiors
I had a boat with blue carpet while a friend had one with tan. They were both a pain to keep clean. My current boat has gray carpet and the seats are gray. They are easy to keep clean. As for the hot times I sit on a towel.

I have a griddle from an old gas grill that I lay on top of a hot plate.

5" senkos with a 2 piece cnc mold - struggling
You might have to warm the mold and the injectors. When it is cool I warm the molds and injectors while I am preparing the plastisol.

Mayo's Hand Poured Baits
You can not tell the difference on some baits if they are made in a double sided cnc mold. I had a stick bait mold with individual cavities and when they came out they looked great. Open pours have the top open and the plastisol is just poured into it. In general today’s hand poured baits refer to baits that are made in small quantities in small shops whether they are actually poured or injected instead of done commercially hundreds at a time.

New tires for Ranger Cayman 223
I pulled a 5th wheeler from MO to the gulf and back several times as well as to Canada. It’s not worth it to go beyond 6 years. What’s a few bucks compared to the potential for massive equipment injury or personal injuries?

You might try using a Qtip and putting some cooking oil along the sides of the cavities. Sometimes I have to do that with my baby brush hogs.

Time to Make Changes
To each his own. If I couldn’t have a bass boat that runs fast and has lots of storage I would quit fishing and go back to golf.

new car/ good tech/ not sure?
Sorry for your troubles. I am a bells and whistles guy. My truck and car have all of those things and I love it. My boat also has lots of do dads. That’s what keeps life interesting.

New tires for Ranger Cayman 223
I would not go into the 8th year on any tire. Change before or after 7 max. Dealer is more important than brand. My tire shop rotates when I want and even fixes flats free if I have one. I have no clue what brand the tires are.

Casting reel question
Have you tried tightening the drag?

Getting new tires for bass tracker 175
My recommendation is go to a tire dealer that you trust and get his advice. I use one guy at a tire shop he has fixedme up with tires for two trailers and my truck. He also rotates and fixes flats for free.
