Hey Guys, Remind Me Again
A simple google query revealed this: "The federal inspection agency said evidence indicates the packages are part of a “brushing scam” in which sellers send unsolicited items in hopes of increasing sales." It seems that the seeds so far appear to be common flowering varieties but they do recommend that they not be planted as some could be invasive species.

Puls width modulator fish finder interference?
I'll give it a try, but it works good with the trolling motor connected to the same battery that doesn't use the PWM. Only when I turn the PWM on.....

Puls width modulator fish finder interference?
Yes, but for a couple of years now never an issue before the pwm and not an issue when using the non pwm motor. Just when I turn on the pwm. The charger only charges when I plug it in at the dock. It's not connected to an engine that charges it. No gasoline motor on board.

Puls width modulator fish finder interference?
I have an all electric boat. Just a couple of minn kotas on a lake I live on. I recently installed a pulse width modulator on one of the motors for better control. When I run it the fish in the fish finder never appear. Sometimes the bottom will look like a lot of little spikes too but not all the time. If I turn it off and run the other motor that is not on the PWM the fish return. Anyone have a setup like this and ever notice an issue? I'm thinking of maybe faraday caging the unit in the console.. you know putting it in a metal box thinking this might solve the problem. Anyone ever have this issue or know if my solution might be a good one? Other than that the PWM is performing really nicely and I'd like to keep it. Thnx.

curado dc or tatula sv on doybns 734c??
I've got a Curado DC on a Dobyns champion 735c glass and love it. Just my opinion of course. Pretty exciting to catch a good sized bass on one. Don't know about all purpose. I fish a lot of hard baits.

2020 is proving to be a tough year.
Early spring really bad, then an uptick later on so I had hope, then it just died... and I mean died. They drained the lake a bit lower last year to repair the dam. I'm thinking that might have done it.

NOT FAIR
My New vehicle history since I was 22 yrs old... I live in Maine... I am stupid easy on vehicles....Most of them V8's, a couple of 6's 1973 Chevy chevelle- Okay, back then you had to keep at them to make them run smooth 139 miles to rust out 1980 Chevy Caprice classic.... Nice car, a bit luxury. The engine ran so rough after 50k. Mechanics couldn't smooth it out, 130k miles to trade in after I got fed up. 1990 Chevy extended cab pickup... The white paint fell off... in dinner plate sized pieces after a few years. Engine cracked block (factory defect) Put in a rebuilt at 90k.... lasted 140k 2000 Chevy Tahoe... not great but the best chevy I've owned. Lasted 149k till rust. 2003 chevy silverado Damned piece of sh-t. coroded brakes/rotors every 20k, Hubs, bearings. I put 10k in this thing to keep it going. Rusted out frame in 84k miles. Uninspectable/unrepairable. I had to get rid of it. What a nightmare and loss. 2015 Ford f150 xlt V8. I finally decided to leave the GM bandwagon. First aluminum body one. 84k on it now. I've replace a parking brake cable. Just maintenance. Brakes register as about 50% worn so far. Tires will make it to 90-95k. NO rust spots on the frame at all. None... Unheard of in Maine. I get underneath once and awhile just to see if it's actually true. And it's appointed and drives as if I was in my living room. I finally hit one to feel good about.

Woodworking and fishing
Ditto that. I learned a lot from Marling baits on youtube. And he's got a style that makes you wait for his next vid.

Whopper Plopper: Bass pattern..
I just had to post this because I made a bait that I gave a 50-50 chance of working and it did and nicely. It's a whopper plopper. My first one. The video below has how I built it and shows it's cool 'plopping' in action in the water. Really happy with this one.

Shimano Curado DC Adjusting Help
No, it's just right. Then again you can let up on it a bit and see what happens.

Shimano Curado DC Adjusting Help
I've posted this a few times here. I got a curado dc a couple of years ago and found that the shimano spool shaking directions were no good. It will backlash. I've emailed them my method and they were interested. I also use 30 lb braid. I found, after searching this method online, long ago. With the lure on: ~Setting 2 for braid ~Hit the trigger and adjust the tension knob until the lure drops a foot or so each time you give it a shake. ~You need to readjust for any bait with a different weight. I cast all the time. I've got thousands of casts on this reel. I NEVER use my thumb unless I want to stop the lure before the end of the cast.... I just love to cast a good bait. I haven't had a backlash in two years. Only that once when I missed the trigger timing and the lure smashed the water right in front of me, but not a bad one. I can cast a weight into the side of the garage and it won't nest, or cast a lighter lure into a strong headwind.... nada. Try it. I guarantee it.... then it will become the truly amazing reel you thought it would be.

Skilsaw
Depends. A cordless circular saw is great when you bring home a couple of sheets of plywood and need to cut it up to size for a project in the garage or outside. No cord. They do cut okay, and they are fairly light. For a lot of work that will last awhile to do a corded one is nice. Sometimes getting a corded saw set up to use is half the battle. Sort of like my lawnmower. I have a 30 minute lawn. My new electric mower always starts, is lighter, little maintenance, and cuts great. But, the battery is only good for up to an hour. If I had a big lawn I'd need to deal with oil and gas but it would be the only alternative outside of buyng more batteries. But, make no mistake. Like electric cars that can develop more torque and speed than gasoline engines, an electric tool can be made the same way. They just don't seem to do it.

HOW TO FEEL 30 YEARS YOUNGER
I have a Ford myself but before that they were all Chevy's. Anyway, nothing like a new truck. You get a truck and you get to drive your living room. Wonderful for hauling a camper around the country.

PFD Question
I have no answer for you... But your post is timely for me. I have the same vest. I've had it for two years. I keep it packed away in the boat. The other day we had a buckets load downpour that lasted an hour. This morning when I went to put it on it was inflated in the storage well..... I guess I'll be bringing it in from now on. Still love the comfort of it compared to non inflatables.... Oh, and that test I always wanted to do on it to see if these things actually work? Well they do.

Picked this up today
This is a funny misunderstanding I think... You said "there are a bunch on the bay". I think the OP thought you were saying a lot of people have them out there on "the bay" so they must be the best thing since sliced bread. i.e. a good motor.

UPDATE/ Guess it's just not our year

My Dobyn's 735 champion mhf glass is so wonderful. The Fury on a spinning set is also pretty nice too. Good rods.

Where could I go to get my boat and trailer weighed and how much would it cost?
When I went to the local stone and stone crushing company they weighed my truck on the way in and on the way out. That's how I payed for the stone. I'm sure you could get the guy in the shack to give you a number if you had something like that near you. Super quick... just stop for a second on the pad and move on.

52..How Time Fly's.......
Going from 55 to 65 took about 2 years. The years or the time isn't an issue. It's when inflammation begins. For me it was about 60. At that point your body begins to feel older as you realize a lot can change in a year or even six months time. Until that happens you really don't feel any older than you did years ago. My favorite saying... "This getting old thing is for the birds." That being said, I'm pretty healthy so hoping to maintain for awhile longer.
