Ok so the man was desperate for someone to show him Blood River ;D Guess the cats' outta the bag. Here's a few pics. Actually we caught lots of fish, some more than the other but were having so much fun, I didn't take many pics! Greg, thanks for the great time, and the ride in the Ranger! We'll have to do it again, soon!

I had the pleasure of finally meeting my step-daughter, Sam, she's 13. We went on the boat Friday evening with little success, I caught 4 and her dad caught 1 but none for Sam Sunday after church I did a very "squirrely" thing. Yes, ME! We took Sam tubing, she had a blast! Yes guys, that's me, in a dress Monday evening we went back out fishing. The bass weren't cooperating too well, again I caught 4 and it was looking like a skunk for the other two. Suddenly Sam yelled...Got one! Her first ever bass.... It took a little encouragement and convincing to get her to hold it but she finally did. 2 1/2lbs, not bad. After the excitement calmed she asked "How long before I'm catching like you"? I think she's hooked. She was much more afraid of the bass than the Rottie. She had to leave out last nite. I miss her but it was a great first meeting.

Dan, you make me blush but thanks, very much. If I ever make it down your way, I'd love to occupy the empty seat. I'm sure I'd learn a lot! you might change your mind and want me to wear the blinders or maybe even a welding hat or something. One things for sure, I'd love to get into a bunch of those bluegill. deb

Hey Dan, The winters in KY can get kinda chilly but then there's the fireplace to snuggle by. I live in southern Ky so it's not as bad as up north ;D... just wait a little while...spring always comes around......I love the changing of the seasons...Winter the least, then summer, but I sure do enjoy spring and fall. Heck I enjoy them all. It's called living........... deb

Just a couple of hrs, I know you're gonna be busy but we need to settle this I'll show you Mom can still whip you........ Nice fish, as usual. You're tougher than me...90+ temp, no thanks, 89 is my limit ;D It's been a yr or two since I got into bluegill like that. What fun, wax worms and a couple free hours and your plum worn out. But dinner sure is good deb

Last weekend we had the rare July "cold front" move thru. It was wonderful. The bass must have enjoyed it too....On Fri evening we were catching some nice fish. This was the largest. We made it out fairly early Sat morning. What fun, caught several 3, 4 and one 5 1/2lbers. biggest one since May. We ended up with 34 between Fri evening and Sat morning. All were caught off the GY kreature, t-rigged. By Sat evening the bite had slacked off tremendously. Oh how good to hit the lake with it 59 degrees. Had to peel clothes all morning. Now, it's back to the hot, humid, dog days of summer....but fall isn't far away

Guess I can cancel the doctor's appt for tomorrow.. ;D..desperately needed something for the withdrawal symptoms. yes, it's been a long week but well worth the wait! deb
