  1. Back in the day a click was a bad term as well. Now its used to describe a group of friends. People today have no clue that it meant bad things back then. I hope its the same for that site.
  2. A couple more from past week. 24 and 22 inch respectively. Both released in perfect health.
  3. Most wont like this answer. But kickintherebasstv does both. They catch fish and explain whats going on. Videos arent to long and fairly entertaining as well.
  4. Pond magic 1/4 oz. Run it along the edge of bank banging off of rocks and such. I cant tell you have many bass I have caught just like this. Also great for coming through heavy weed. Small compact and doesnt get stuck often. 7 foot med heavy fast tip with a mach 2. I can cast it fairly far on baitcasting equipment.
  5. Dont mind these other folks that only answered your thread to try to put you in your place. The internet is gonna internet. Seems it has gotten better as of today for me.
  6. Tbh this is the 1st ive heard of it. I generally go to capel cove or oak shores. I will have to do some research and get back to you.
  7. Cant say I dissagree with that.
  8. I sincerely hope you didnt take it as a personal slight towards you. The internet is a funny place and one just cant be to careful.
  9. Fair enough. Im new lol. And hes not a mod or someone im aware of that is directly connected to this site. Im just playin safe is all. Thanks for the heads up.
  10. I intend to participate. I will pm you with my name and then address once I get verification from glenn or a mod stating that you are on the up and up. (Internet forums. Gotta be careful). Happy to spend a min of $25.
  11. I spent about a week down at lake berryessa. What I found from the bank is you need to find the coves where the bass have back the bait fish into. Once I found the water popping in these coves I began catchig fish. They were not cruising the banks that is for sure.
  12. This doesnt suprise me at all. DNA is capable of storing crazy amounts of memory. I have always considered the meaning of life to be the acquisition of information. Gathering info to pass down to future generations. We can tell tales of things once was. Fish cannot talk so this is there passing tales so to speak.
  13. Have you opened the side plate to take a look? Im guessing opening the plate will help you alot.
  14. I had a Mervins close near me many years ago. I purchased all of there jewelry cases and converted 2 into super dope iguana enclosures. I still have 5 of them. I will probably display all of my gear in them once I fit them how I want them.
  15. I sit and play with a curly tail grub running through my fingers most nights. Wife at 1st thought it was odd now its just part of our norm.
  16. This glass needs a ice cold coke in it. The colors of the lure demand it.
  17. Black n blue chatterbait would be my go to as long as vegetation allows. Also wondering if you have been fishing the same spots consistently day and night?
  18. They are incredibly agressive and put up one hell of a fight. Yesterday I was finishing up for the day and went to just brin in my rig and ended up with this on the hook. Yep a everything kind of day for sure.
  19. 3 to 15 hrs depending on how far I have to go to get to the body of water. The longer the drive the longer im staying.
  20. I like this. This is the kind of thing's a new person like myself needs. Thank you.
  21. Yes lake berryessa
  22. So I have caught a bunch of large mouth bass but recently I have been taking a trip to an area where there are only spotted bass. I cant seem to catch any of them. Do they eat the same lures as largemouth? I have tried 4 times now to no avail. I have only had one bite on a chatterbait in that 4 days of fishing. Im not quite sure what to do different than I would do with a largemouth but if anyone can help me its BR. Side note I was highjacked by bees today. I grilled a couple of steaks at the lake and about 20 bees swooped in and basically covered the dang steaks. I dont understand what that was about... Help a brother out.
  23. Funny enough those 2 are exactly what I ended up falling in love with. The 3/8 spinner is a bit nicer to my wrist I have found.
  24. What you have stated was exactly why I asked the question. I was attempting to slow myself down a bit but get some direction to head in. Being new to this is not easy especially when you are going at it alone. It becomes to easy to want to try everything and end up learning nothing.
  25. Same with the bears in Nor Cal. Once saw a mountian lion as well. Always important to know whats going on around you.
