  1. Trickle charger on everything with a battery, adds longevity to the battery and prevents freezing.
  2. Neat and clean.....and organized ?
  3. I strive for calm water, surface like glass. Everything I throw does significantly better in calm water including spinnerbaits and my senses are heightened. Top water early, buzzbaits, Spooks, whopper ploppers are my favorites. Weightless Senko works about everywhere.
  4. The best bait I've found to skip is super flukes on spinning......under docks and overhangs. My fishing partner does well with wacky rigged Senko's.
  5. I simply look at the best QBs come playoffs. So it's easy to assume that Rodgers, Brady or Mahomes will win the SB. As an unbiased football fan, would love to see Buffalo get that Monkey off their back. Oh, look a the Cowboys record vs teams with a winning record, dismal.....they ain't winning it. Lol
  6. The outcome of the game was better than the commercials.......go Dogs.
  7. I take it your not a baseball fan, especially a no hitter. Lol
  8. I'm just an older stubborn fellow. Lol If a bait is producing, I stick with it. I still use Rapala Jerkbaits on top with good results. BUT your right, action is what we look for.
  9. A defensive grinder.
  10. Lots of experts picking Tenn vs Green bay in SB but I got questions. (1) Will henry have his legs ? They need him. (2) if Tampa plays Green bay, can Rodgers actually beat Brady ? Should be fun
  11. For the past 3 years it's been nothing but Luck E strike, affordable and catch fish here.
  12. What's going on ? Booked a guided trip to menderchuck and denied my card.
  13. It's by far my go to bait in pre-spawn. I fish extremely clear water and while standing in boat with polarized glasses on, always have a visual of bait. If it's cloudy and calm, I RACE to the water with a bone suspending Jerkbait making 2 - 3 foot sweeps with rod tip down. Possibly due to the clear water, not sure but Jerkbaits are killer here and the fish practicality hook themselves.
  14. Something new ? A technique I've not given much time to is wacky rig so will make an effort in 2022. I'm kinda of hard headed and usually don't stray far from tried and true.....more specifically a weightless stick bait or Texas rig. Who knows, a wacky rig may end up a go to for 2022.
  15. Lol, well you told it like it was, it happens. I fished this clear lake by myself and ripped them on a drop-shot Roboworm. Invited my fishing buddy on next trip to this lake, grinning the whole time knowing that drop-shot would be my bait of choice and expected him to follow suit. He threw a simple Texas rigged worm and slayed them from back of boat while asking " what is this drop-shot you keep referring to......I caught one dink.
  16. 6* here this morning in the mountains of western VA and more snow. I know, terrible pic but I ain't going outside. Lol
  17. Hmmm might have to check mine also, use braid on the 300.

Retired and live in a rural area but wife still works so decided to get double jabbed and boosted. Our county is kinda backwoods and only 40% vaccinated......I have no opinion. Lol
  19. Perhaps the biggest laugh I've had on this site.
  20. Ha ha, yes the 300 is a legend and while heavy, indestructible. Clean em' up and use them. Sir, you doing something right as I hope to still be fishing at 84, God bless.
  21. I've been a (3) man setup for many years and still am. Pre tie the night before and one of the 3 usually produces. My fishing buddy regularly carries 9 with face buried in fish finder, reading structure while I'm grabbing the net. Lol Whatever works I guess.
  22. Glad Bill, Roland and Jimmy houston are still around, love those guys......still watch them.
  23. Know what you mean. When they start loosing salt, I add a nail weight or pinch weight.
  24. #1. Spinnerbaits #2 Craw imitations - jigs/Zoom craws/Brush hogs #3 Senko's Submerged wood is my preferred cover where I fish.
  25. Wow. I'm also an avid deer hunter and wouldn't hunt in those temps. I've fished twice this winter and 40* was the lowest afternoon temp. Please don't fall overboard in those temps.
