My typical spots Local small lake is 5 minutes .. so 5 minutes to about 50 minutes ..is my normal routine of Lakes /Reservoirs. Lake 5 minutes from me is so nice but the most frustrating to fish.

French Creek State Park in Berks co. still open.. still a ton everywhere.. some may choose not to disclose lol.

Buddy of mine pointed out a"boat" load of things on trailer and boat. Better to just keep looking for what I want , he knows how I think and how stupid I would get with putting money into something that needs quite a bit of repair on a boat size I don't really want ..

The guy was the first to ask where I would like to go to do transfer. Not worried about that.

So I found a cheapy. A old Alumacraft 1447 w/trailer and old Evinrude 6hp (carburated). He has Title for Trailer, no Boat title although he does have it registered in his name.. but can't find his Reg... So went to look at it. Only tag is the typical model number/capacity/weight stuff . Vin is I'm assuming behind Transom board. Came home and did some research . In Pa. need title if newer than a '97. It appears this boat is 93 or older as its a 1447 which now a days is called the 1432.Looks like they made the model number change around 1993. I Guess back than they measured Top width for model name instead of bottom width... Motor doesn't run although it trys to fire so needs a my TLC. So have to call boat commission to figure out how to get Reg in my name if I buy... guessing they can look up his name and Boat Reg. number on side of boat. My thing is went to look at thinking it was a 47" bottom width and its 32 inch bottom width. 14 foot but Mighty narrow. But for $250.00 for all.. My head is spinning. Buy it.. get motor running right, use boat til find bigger Jon I want. But dont know if trailer will work with bigger Jon. New to the boat thing so excuse my venting and aimless post.

Another Favorite Big Sexy rod and either another Curado DC or Daiwa HLC baitcaster. Bass Boat would be great but that ain't happening yet as a divorce would be to costly lol

I go directly to the source on every catch. Til this day not one of them have given up any information on this matter. Very tight lipped group they are..I will however continue my interrogations. I may try waterboarding.

I’m hoping to for spring.. a boat.. just no idea what I want to go for.. main Lake I’ll fish is 20hp limit.. but than I go to other lakes they r un restricted for most part and will take me forever to get around.. I get the limit ,know one hauling ass all over the place .. but also sucks taking forever getting around. My buddies boat he bought used for 20k .. just seems like a lot of money for a bass boat that can barely move ... like 13 to 15mph. Nice boat I think 16ft but just has me scratching my head As to what to do

Yup, may sound over cautious to some but I put zero on my truck to let people know what may be in it.

Switched out to Amber .. been so long forgot how much of a difference that color makes.. certain parts of lake could definitely see where not to fish and other parts how to fish it better.

What sunglass lens color do you all prefer when fishing? Also I have been tearing thru sunglasses on the water fishing.. the lens finish will stain or run off whichever is happening from water splashing cruising on boat.

Yeah.. I figured.. but I have had good luck day after rain before.. clean line was shallow figured they may have pushed that way.. they didn’t lol. That and you know how it is.... New Rod and Reel.. there could have been a hurricane .. We’re all out there making some casts

Rain night before and crazy wind.. I could not find the fish.. made for interesting lure choices . Muddy to clean line of water

It always differs.. depends on how many time I say "this is my last cast"... which could last hours.

Looking to pick up another reel. Looking between Daiwa HLC or the new Elite. Seems the Elite is a upgraded HLC but they don't promote it that way. Any input on going with either.. 199 for the HLC and seems Ebay has the Elite for 215 now. Thanks
