Definitely! Best part is I've never tried about half of these and its always nice to give new baits a shot.

That's a good suggestion since I fish with a thicker leader either way. I guess something about 10lb braid just scares me but it might make sense to give it a shot.

Looking for direct experience from anyone who has thrown lighter baits like a weightless trick worm on a premium 10lb fluoro like Tatsu as well as on a 20lb braid. I realize that distance isn't everything but being shorebound, distance makes a huge difference with lighter lures. I'm currently throwing 20lb sufix 832 and it casts well enough but sometimes it almost feels like the braid wants to stick to itself when casting, not dig in from braid, just wet braid being wet braid. Ideally I'd want to go straight fluoro but not if it's going to severely decrease casting distance.

If you're throwing lures and want to stick to mono, few lines are better than Varivas Super Trout Advance Twitch Master. I have this on my UL and its been great. You seem to be interested in diameter, this line comes in at .006, .148mm for the 4# with the 8# test being .008, .215mm. For an off-the-shelf line, the new Trilene sensation has worked well for me. 4# test .008, .20mm. That said, from the 2 options you gave, I'd go izorline.

Yeah there's been back and forth about where the line is made since they state engineered and manufactured in Germany but the spool box clearly has a made in china label on the back ... who knows. For me its $1 that might turn out to be half decent leader material for fishing zebra infested areas

I've had a 2 piece come apart when surf fishing ... more than once, sadly. Both times just reeled the top half back in.

im guessing he does this for flipping and pitching and as mentioned, the slight increase in pressure needed to bend the weedguard is more than offset by the heavy rod/line.

Mine's going direct to recipient as well. But the chances of it being late are fairly high since the company takes a while to get baits out.

eBay is the only place ive found it. I usually eBay either way since retailers no longer carry the smoke colored line which is my preference.

I received my box today! I wont open till Christmas but the shake test tells me theres at least 1 crankbait in there.
