Bobber/Peg Stoppers
They probably all come out of the same chinese factory. These have worked well for me. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GRQRPBW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Also, what do you mean the wire is pulling out? Like the wire is breaking off the main clip thing?

The place is legit but most rods purchased from there are factory seconds - no warranty- The latest sale thread
The warranty is worth $70 to me- Baitcaster that minimizes backlashing?
Isn't that something you can do on any quality reel?? turn the brakes up real high = no backlash- daiwa tatula ct upgrades?
^ I've found the difference this makes is huge on Daiwas. The stock spool bearings are pretty good too. From what I've seen the most common upgrades are Flush spool bearings and oil with TSI 321 Replace handle bushings with bearings (you'll have to mess with the shims) Replace levelwind bushings with bearings (some people don't like bearings here since its an area that typically gets lots of water) If you want stuff for show there's plenty of stuff too.- How should I fish a small, gunky pond?
I've had luck with rapala floaters in those conditions.- Baitcaster that minimizes backlashing?
^ the fish are always going to be 5-10 feet further than you can cast anyway- This shouldn't be this hard
Yeah but ive never considered a surgeon's loop for this purpose or seen it used that way. Seems like it should work ...- This shouldn't be this hard
ngl this ^ confused the crud outta me- Curado DC and Curado K
- Backing
That should work well. 15# is what I tend to use as backing as well. Unlike others, I typically just eyeball it with the backing.- Backing
You're planning on using the Big Game for main line or backing? I always use backing on bass reels to help me save monies on line.- Curado DC and Curado K
The K is a solid reel but I don't think it will ever reach the legend status of the E series.- The latest sale thread
Yeah something was off ... they even had a hard time ringing it up yesterday- The latest sale thread
When I called they let me know they had them in stock. I went in person to purchase. Had to go to two stores and I may go back for an SLX MGL. Thanks to the lack of advertising there's a surprising amount of inventory.- The latest sale thread
Probably trying to drive foot traffic to stores? I have no clue ... all I know is I'll be picking up a Curado and Spheros in a bit here.- The latest sale thread
Theyve pulled them from website. Call to check for stock. I just did and can confirm 20% off Shimano and Daiwa and stock not showing on website.- This shouldn't be this hard
I cant see the soaking in water thing help in any way other than adding memory to the line. I would avoid it and if you insist on doing it, make sure you have a way to keep the line tight to the spool while submerged.- Removing Old Grease

- Reel Type
I learned on closed face and used it for everything from trout to redfish and bait to lures. I feel that casting distance may have been a slight hinderance but I will say that a properly spooled closed faced reel on a quality rod can get the job done. Closed face is easier to use, open gets better casting distance, allows you a wider selection of reels, allows the use of braided line.- Baitcaster reel making nose when pulling out the line when I put the drag tight
