Ok something I’ve noticed watch braid tying videos. It’s kind of stiff. The braid line in have you can’t hold out 1 inch without it falling over limp

And that’s why I now have a Bending Branches Pro Angler

Palomar has always been my favorite but didn’t know it was good on braid I had to look up the Fishing Fool knot. I never heard of that one. The original braid knot is one I remember from the 80’s when braid first hit the market big time.

I’m sure this has been asked and I did search for it but..... What knot do you use to tie braid straight to your hook? Thanks!

I always set the hook on frogs the way I do topwater baits. wait till you feel weight

Welcome from another NYer. What end are you from?

I was on Conesus this past Thurs. Air temp Was 55 and surface was 46 but after this weekend with lows around 18 and highs of 35 I bet the surface temp is a little lower. I was dragging a 1/4oz jig head with a 3” worm trailer in 9-30’ depths. Nothing! Switched to a 2 1/2” rattletrap and popped it off the bottom in this same depths. Nothing! I didn’t try anything shallower than 9’. Even with nothing it was still a great day out in the kayak

NY opened and dropped all entrance fees for state parks. Governor is encouraging us to go to the parks for fresh air and exercise.

Ok. We have a Bristol and bps close by Jackson Kayak Company is just outside Nashville

Jackson Big Rig is a very stable kayak for standing up. when you say Bristol and BPS are you in NY?

Look for a used kayak. I found a Jackson Liska for 750 that came with a good paddle,PFD, and depth finder. Then I also found a 1 year old Jackson Big Rig for 1000.

I’ve been very aware to seat it completely and I still didn’t get it right

Same reply as Smalls ive had it not turn on and after checking other things it turned out to be I didn’t seat the power plug all the way

Used jet ski trailer for me. I made it so it hauls two kayaks side by side or one up the middle when the wife doesn’t join me. My kayaks are 11.5’ and 13.5’ long. So they only stick a couple feet off the back.
