Do you have a Bonafide? I was really wanting one but wanted to test drive one first but couldn’t find anyone in Roch area. So I bought a Jackson Big Rig

So what did you buy?

I was just thinking about this as I sit on the couch for the third day wuth the flu.

Bill Dance(bloopers were the best) and Hank Parker were my favorites. Bassmasters put me to sleep. I met Bill Dance at a Fishing University two day class. I learned how to use a baitcaster from him. Man that was a longtime ago. There was another show nobody mentioned called Fishing University. I don’t remember who hosted it anymore. It was a very technique based show not just look how many big fish we caught.

yep no fat meat piece. All one thickness. but I’ll still will be ordering. I do have some UJ still. Not sure if they are good anymore. They’re only 30 years old. I also use to mix a scent in with the brine

I was just FB messaging with him (Dillon) last week. I loved fishing Unlce Josh pork on my flipping jigs so I’ll probably will be buying some of these. I wish he had a side photo of these. They don’t look like they have that thick pad of meat like UJ did.

I just found out tonight one of Rochester’s four dicks store is moving into a empty Sears store building. This store will be huge.

I fished tournaments with a small club. For two years I won every tournament -12. I joined a bigger club for more competition. I got asked by a non-boater to be his partner at the old club. I was very cocky that morning at the boat launch. I got My butt handed to me. Big bag weights were coming in and all I had was 2 small bass.

I wanted a Bonafide 127 so bad but no one has one in my area so I could test drive 1st which I highly recommend. I made that mistake the first time last year by not test drive in a kayak first that I was not comfortable standing up and even though everyone says it is per I made that mistake the first time last year by not test driving a Kia first that I was not comfortable standing up in even though everyone says it is. I did find a Jackson big rig to test drive and man that thing is stable. What type of body of water do you fish because that’ll make a big difference for recommendations from other people?

Salesman said they had a clearance sale on lots of tackle up to 50% off and it ended this past Sun. Figures!

My wife had to go return something to the mall so I took a walk through dicks just to see what was going on. Gun dept had 10 and 5 pistols left. All ammo gone. Nothing else hunting related. They have started moving a swimming dept into its place. Fishing dept is some what scarce. Only clearance I saw was one end cap that had “buy 5 get 5 free” but the prices were high.

I’ve been doing lots of searching on this as it’s my 1st year of kayak fishing and I didn’t want to put it away Nov 1 but with help I made it out until a couple days before Christmas. Here’s a couple great videos.

We lost our field & stream store when sportsman warehouse bought them out. So far it hasn’t changed much as they sell off the old inventory. They say it will get better soon

Are these waterproof? Windproof?
