So I want to start catching minnows and crayfish. I used to do this as a kid but that was always in current in creeks/rivers. If I want to drop a trap in a lake off of my kayak, what type of trap should I get?

Regardless of what you get, I personally wouldn't buy one with the rod locker in the middle. Getting into side hatches with rods on the deck looks like a huge pain.

Looks like I may have to pick these up, I've always been curious. A guy on my local circuit has a lifetime supply and consistently does great in our events with them.

Thanks! The eyes are a little off, but I tried making my own 3D eyes from UV resin. They're kinda hard to make and paint at that small size!
