  1. Good luck and dont forget do day and night fishing at Lake Biwa if you can. they getting good night fishing over there. Happy for you.
  2. I am in quality rod and reel together. But pay attention about what is that combo going to use for? Is it important to detect the bites? or having great reel quality for casting and having best break and drag system? some combo you might need better rod and some other technique you might need better quality reel. So the answer is, Depending on your fishing style you can go any direction. That is funny how many times I catch bass on my girlfriends $39 pink uglystik combo 😂
  3. Just buy cheap $150 Cabalas Waders so if something happened it will be cheap replacement(I have one for few years and still dry), I went expensive Simms and I got a hole it is(yes you can fix it but it is hassle). For the shoe, Get a good pair of Simms and they are so light and awesome and youll have them for so long. Just go cheap with the wader and buy couple of them if possible because they are always out of stock.
  4. I am starting to look for a rod to pair with it 🤣 https://fish.shimano.com/en-GB/product/reels/baitcasting/lowprofile/a075f000045zv32qag.html

  7. After watching so many clips and your help by reading your comments here, I end up getting a Cutco Fishermans Solution. The reason I got this one was their lifetime warranty. Plus we have a full set kitchen Cutco knives and going to buy some more of their product soon. It was very expensive on amazon(almost $200 after TAX), But I end up order one from their website with engraving $130. I really love the feeling in hand and plus it comes with fish grader and hook sharper and adjustable blade for when I have big fish and it is Made In USA. Thanks all for help. the max is 9" , Thanks for recommendation.
  8. Plan is to have one surface Aerator and one sub surface Aertor and one waterfall, It will have intake pipe from two wells (5000 talon/hour Capacity), And the well water is the same we are drinking. Thats the plan so far.
  9. I honestly buying general tube jig/weighted hooks in bulk. Tube catches fish always specially if you squirt a fish attractant gel into it, I believe if there is a bass, you'll catch them. Buying them by 5 pond packs.

  15. Bass Pro in Irvine CA going to be open very soon. It is in a EX-Walmart Location and they going to have 150000 sqf bass pro store there.
  16. The st.croix rods are really good quality, I carry some for 9 years (travel rod) and they are one of the best among all brands. Some rods like the one I have is heavier because of using glass in the body, Not all in carbon and thats how it need to be for that application. I am sure they have some all carbon rod lines that way lighter.

  20. I am looking for best large knife for fillet fish, The reason for asking large blade is, Because I catch lots of 5 to 15lb trouts and I need a filet knife that can handle large fishes, And I want the sharpest and the best because I want to be able to remove the rib bones without shredding the meet and destroying the fillets.
  21. Welcome
  22. ok guys we hit the first wall, Because elevation and leech line we force to have lake on half acre, but I am thinking to make it 12 feet deep aside from 6 feet so it will be the same amount of water. I want to ask you, is it going to be a good bass pond or it is too small? Ive read all the pond projects here at Bassresource.com and so far, everyone have 4 acre or 5 acre lake build in the property. thats making me nervous.
  23. Got Butch Brown mirror trout tuned and signed by him plus a grandpa top water(good for bass and striper).
