For some of you might know we have 3/4 acre pond which we stock 14 bass and 12 death unfortunately , We add two more bass and they survived, For now we have 4 bass and hopping that some have lay egg(Amen :)) When that happened I saw that I have very good area that I can put a very special bass heaven in there by 1 acre. We started two months ago and get bids from contractors and also some recommendations here, BUT found out the permit is not easy and we need to do a lot for HOA and city permit. last week was finally first physical work which getting the soil sample and everything was so good and promising. Our engineer was worried about having large stones under the property and we were lucky and we had non. Still long time to get the permit and start digging the lake, But just wanted to share everything with you guys. I am open to any suggestions and appreciate any advice.

if I do only bass trip, I am rigged with 9 to 13 rod and I stick with them. If trout and bass trip I use my 5 rods and change every 20min and if I catch bass with anything, Very fast ill change lure to catch them on other lure.

If I want to name one bass boat, It will be Bass Cat Lynx BUT, After years of fishing, and style of my fishing, I would be very happy with 23' Willie Aluminum boat with mercury 250 jet engine and a 9.9 Honda side/trolling engine. Because I can use it for every fishing location, Lake or river. it is wide 102" and the width is very important for me.

shrink tube have weight by itself as well, I've had only shrink tube on some rod and I notice the weight immediately.

My main BFS Setup which I catch lots of fish (Bass/Trout) on it. Calcutta Conquest BFS reel spooled with 15lb test various 100 yards, This line was on it forever and I just change the leader depending on where and what I am fishing for. The rod is 5'2" m-aire Japanese rod. This is my river combo.

Please look at my old post about it: and almost one year and half and it is holding very well like first day. Only one thing to remind you that it will add weight to your rod a lot. As you can see I just add them for my catfish rods that I use for bait and wait.

Guys I am spending a week in Northern California , I have few fish to check in my bucket list and they can be find there, I need help for spots for bank fishing for sturgeon and steelhead/King Salmon(chinook) and stripers. If I can catch them from bank, I will not rent boats. Please let me know if you can give me exact spot that I can do there and find any of them. I know the hole system and understand the movements BUT I dont know exactly where they are the week I am there.
