The Anteras DC is bulkier, But I feel more balance while using antennas, Despite being heavy and bulky but it really feel more balance, Thats why Anters DC is my to go reel with my conquest rod. and my metanium Dc is my second choice.

I used both and now I am using conquest and ill use it forever, Till today I haven't seen any rod better than conquest.

Strike king 3“ 4” , I think they calling them KVD spoons, very nice colors and incredible action, and fair pricing is a plus. For couple weeks I start to throw big baits again specially in my night time fishing, Some issue surfaced as I do it more and more. That’s the leader getting tangled by swim bait hooks or even bbz rat. I am leader guy, no matter what I have braid to leader and even I have 30lb fluorocarbon leader it still tangled some times, for example last night when I was casting baitsanity. so now I was thinking to change my leaders to 50lb , Just to let you know my main line is 80 in my 908 rod and 65lb in my 906 Shia no rod. So any idea? Should I change leaders to 50lb or stay on 30lb and get tangled two times out of 20 cast?

None, only Shimano. I have all DC reels(almost all), ill tell you which one is my best. First place Antares DC MD(best Cast Best Performance) second Metanium DC Third SLX(best for money) Forth Curado I am ordering conquest DC in just few days.

I was Reading the Bassmaster magazine Jan/Feb 2021 and I came across this add, Raphala talking about their Hit Stick jerk bait. I have never use them but I found something interesting in them, First Variety of Sizes and colors, And second and most important that they claim that it will act like balsa wood lures. Third, the sound system in the design. Forth, Pricing is very good. For me it is very unique lure but if only it was suspending as well, I would get the whole line of it. Do any of you guys using this lure? and what can you say about it?

Thats how I do it and no matter what pull catch the. But hey the lures also getting them, very light underpin with small swimbait, and trout magnets are way to go. don't forget to change color sometimes if you don't get anything. I got 80% of my trout on it, there other 20% is yellow and rainbow.

here in CA I am using 3/8 most of the time, and in summer when we have thick pad, I am using 1 even 2oz sometimes to get down there. I always think 3/8 will Mae in most of the time.

I didn't Try P5 but I have G-Loomis and I am glad I went that way, right now my two conquests are my to go for bass fishing and I cant tell you what is good of this rods, but I can tell you There is nothing wrong in them, cosmetic or performance. So I highly recommend you to get the conquest. If one day I have the money ill get all line of casting and spinning of conquest.

I believe the best choice will be clear, when it comes to visibility is a factor. That’s why I always use the clear mono when I am using it, however I never use mono in bass fishing.
