  9. if you going to change your line everyday like so many of this guys doing, you can go with lower lb test mono, but someone like me, usually doing braid to FC leader 16lb, but if I throw heavier like 250 or bait sanity ill go till 20lb and my 24oz ill go with 30lb.
  10. Since you doing that better go for 908
  11. It is my first time ever I've see you asking fishing question(Except your interviews).
  12. Thank you, I just had that opportunity and I grabbed it, As I mentioned Fluoro s very expensive, but I plan to get that in bulk as well, so I can use it for some of my combos and even for leader. I want to get Tatsu in bulk. Seaguar Tatsu Line 15lb 1000yd $229.99 Sorry cannot add any more reactions today. Ill like your posts later
  13. Thank you A-Jay. I have 2 mono bulk and 2 braid bulk now, but I cant imagine have Fluorocarbon Bulk spool, It will be very expensive -Guys sorry I liked so many Comments, ill like and thank you by reacting to your answers tomorrow when I can do it again.
  14. Please do braid and when you master it go to Fluorocarbon, Mono will backlash and make you feel hate yourself. at least it was like that for me when I try to do the same and spool up all my BFS reels with mono. Now all of them braid and I have no problem with them. I can change to flour if I like or use it as leader.
  15. I have opportunity to get one spool from a friend he has 10/20/30/40lb test braid 3000 Yard, which one you recommending me to get for my bait casters?
  16. Here in this lake smallest are 14", thats our luck, but we never catch lightning trout yet, they said the chance is 1 to 1000.
  17. @Big 'un , I am addicted to trout fishing, I love stream and lake fishing. I love bass fishing in those lake that they stock trout. I do bait and wait and I do fish for bass, Usually with large(8" Plus) Swim baits and glide baits. This year since I got to BFS fishing so I do cast small/micro swim bait 1/32oz and as you might know I catch couple of bass while trying to catch trophy trout. Anyways after bass fishing, trout is my second choice. I never do cat fish or carp. BTW my son is always very lucky and his trout last year was around 6lb and we had so many 3 or 4 pounder. Anyways I was reading about trout fishing and I saw your old post and I wanted to bring it up again and lets see what others have to say. Cheers
  18. why don't you spool it with braid? much easier to handle and then you can add leader to it.
  19. what you mean by tip wrap?
  20. Since you talking medium size glides, I know for a fact, Swaver 168 and 200 are very good choices and worth the try, especially if you going to lake and ponds smaller size but they stocking trout in them, you decently going to get bite. get the in light trout color and deep the tail in JJs magic chartruce color. Good luck
