You first need to decide which battery, then get ahold of the manufacturer and they will let you know. I know Ionic list the chargers that work with their batteries. It’s something you don’t want to guess at.

Vacuum the carpet regularly and any stains clean up as soon as you can. They sell many brands of marine carpet cleaner. I use auto carpet cleaner and it works great for me. But the key as I mentioned is vacuum regularly so there’s no dirt build up.

When and if I use a leader it’s a Alberto. Haven’t had any issues for many years.

Are you going to use it for traveling or only parked. If traveling a custom cover is the only way to go. If only parked a seal skin. Seal skin are guaranteed for 10 years against leakage and tears. And not pro rated replacement for the 10 years no charge.

Welcome aboard.. it’s hard to say how to keep someone else committed. Some like fishing by themselves for the peace and quiet with nature.
