Welcome aboard…

Hey @Bush Leaguer, welcome to the forums. I see you’re from Tupelo. I’m from Columbus and then lived in Starkville for about 17 yrs. Been living in Southaven for the last 15 yrs.

You should be able to find some good places to fish close by where you live, especially if you got a boat. I would suggest checking out the MS dept of wildlife & fisheries website. There are a few state parks in your area including Trace State Park where the MS state record largemouth was caught.

Wall Doxey State Park should be right in your area - I grew up just into TN from you.

Thanks, guys!

@wdp I've been to Trace State Park, Bay Springs, and I'm trying to get up the nerve to go to Pickwick. Lol

@VolFan I will have to look up Wall Doxey

@GaryHI love those shepherds. My pics are too large but I'll have to edit one post a pic of my boy (Gunter) some time

Another lake you might wanna check out in your area is Elvis Presley lake.
