Well, ours has been set at 69 for the past couple of weeks. I got cold a few hours ago and turned it up to 72, but I tehn got hot a turned it back down. In the summer it is usually set at the lowest temp it will go for the air. Both my wife and I are usually hot natured. Like I said, I did get cold today. I think this medication that I am on from my spinal cord surgery last Tuesday is messing with my hot/cold feelings.

UCLA wa 88-0 at one time as posted earlier. That streak was ended by Notre Dame in 1974, UCLA lost 2 week later to NC State in the final four which ended their run of consecutive National Titles, Wooden won one more in 1975 before retiring. UCLA as a school has won 100 national championships in all sports. I believe that is a record as well. I am a Carolina fan, but for what he did in the same amount of time, John Wooden is the greatest coach ever. Those records will never be duplicated. First off, you can't keep the kids in school long enough. If they when a title or have a sucessful year they bolt to the pros. Also conider this when UCLA won all those titles, freshman were not allowed to play on the varsity squad, which is not all that bad. Makes them grow up a become students instead, college being a farm tema for the pros.

I spent a many of weekends with my Granfather on Masonboro Island surf fishing. He got where he could not go when I was around 16. I quit fishing altogether until I was around 25 or 26. I still love to fish. I just do it a little different than he used to. Where we lived has turned into a suburb of Wilmington and the waterway is so crowded now. That is one of the reasons why I have turned to more of the freshwater scene. I still miss those days sitting on a cooler or a chair over on that island. I have often thought about surf fishing again, but it would not be the same. I would rather move on and have the wonderful memories.

I have three Labs, one chocolate male and two black females. Only the chocolate has been on the boat. Can't take him fishing, jumps out of the boat as soon as it stops or he can see bottom. I did not get to train them on the boat as well a I would have liked to. The first year we had our oldest, the boat stayed broken down most of the summer. The following year I had spinal surgery, so I was broken down most of the summer. I am going to try this summer to get them aclaimated to the boat this summer after I rehab from a second surgery to remove another spinal cord tumor,I should be ready to go in May or June. It is hard to take them as a group because they feed off of each others energy. Individually they are perfect away from home.

Thanks Micro, I knew somewhere up the corporate ladder there was a connection. I did think that these companies would be helping their competition. Talk about a monopoly.

Wow if I was a Gordon fan, I would not want Junior to have engine trouble because if he does more than likely all the Hendrick cars would have engine trouble. These guys all get their motors from the same shop. I have seen in years past that if one car on a team has engine trouble, then the rest follow the same fate.

Earnhardt looks impressive. I want a Toyota driver to win it. Therefore, I guess I'll take either Hamlin or Stewart. Do not under estimate Waltrip or Johnson either. And as far as I concerned, Gordon can blow his engine up on the first lap. ;D

I saw on Cabela's website and then again on Fenwick's website where if you purchased an Abu Garcia Revo reel with either an All Star or Fenwick rod you could get a $50 mail in rebate. The Fenwick website said that the three had partnered together for the rebate. This does not make sense to me. I mean I can see Fenwick and Abu GArcia doing it because they are owned by Pure Fishing. However, All Star is a Sheakespeare Company, why would they partner with their competition. It seems like All Star would offer this rebate with Pflueger. Has All Star been sold to Pure Fishing? From a business stand point I just do not get it.

I agree with Catt. I have a 7ft. MH Claurus, a 7ft BPS Extreme, a 7ft Mh Cape Fear and A 7 ft Key Largo, all spinning rods, that I use in the salt. You could probably land a smaller drum on the medium power but if you get a big bull red you might be in trouble. Plus you never know what might hit you line, ie Black Drum, Shark etc. Man wiht all this talk about saltwater fishing, I may have to return to the inshore scene this summer. TS

I do not know about the baitcaster, but I bought the spinning version two years ago. The reel cramped out after about five or six outings. I ended up carrying it back a got a store credit. I have problem with these signature series combos that are sold at Dick's and BPS. Mainly because you never see Shaw Grigsby or Bill Dance fishing with one on their show. They are always using Quantums top shelf products. I mean if you can't fish with something that has your name on it, then why would you expect me to spend my hard earned money on it.

That is true, however before they had that system, I believe they would rather have won the five hundred. I mean Earnhardt won seven titles and more July races at Daytona than anyone else, but until he won the 98' 500 it was like an achiles heel for him. You can't tell me that did not bug him.

I liked this show when it first came out, then it just got ridiculous. There use to be show on for awhile that I liked called Southern Chopper or Southern Steel. I not sure which. It had the guys from Milwaukee Iron, I believe. They were based in Lynchburg, VA. Those guys were pretty funny. I also like the biker build off. I really like the bikes that that Russell Mitchell form Exile Bikes builds.

So true.... 689 starts......... 4 wins...... I am not a big Waltrip fan but to pay devil's advocate a little two of those victories come at Daytona during the 500. That is double the times that Earnhardt senior won the 500. And Waltrip did it driving cars supplied by DEI. Also with that being said aleast he won the five hundred, which is more than I can say for Rusty Wallace, or Mark Martin, and Ricky Rudd if I am not mistaken. And one of those races he "won" while sitting on the pit box in the rain. Called due to the red flag.... That maybe ture but I have Jeff Gordon when races the same way, and it counts in the standings just the same. I am by no means a Waltrip fan, I was just pointing out a fact. I mean the Daytona 500 is the cream of the crop; there is not driver out there that would trade ten victorie at other tracks for one Daytona 500 victory. If they said they wouldn't, then they are lying.

The kid is ultimately the one who done it, but Mom and Dad bear alot the repsonbility for leaving the weapon and ammo so easily accessible.

Ok that is a sad situation for everyone. Let me say that I am not a anti-gun type, however, why was the gun left out where a child could get a hold of it? It should have been locked in a gun cabinet. Also,why is it that when a child does something like this the parents want to lay blame on hyperactivity or antention deficient disorder. I am not saying that kids do not have this, it just seems like it is used a scape goat for the lack of parental supervision and discipline.

I had a set of those same Cooper tires on my Nissan, they did not last very long. Partially because my truck got knocked out of ailignment, but overall tread wear was not that great for all four tires. I just recently replaced them with a set of Bridgestone Duelers. So far I like the Bridgestones alot better. They only have around 1500 mile only have 1500 miles on them so far. Only time will tell.

Kentucky is my second favorite team behind UNC. Half time was 41-11. They flat out stink this year. They better get better next year otherwise I am going to be forced to root for Rick Pintino and Louisville, more often. On second thought that is probably what will happen because I do not think Billy will get the job done. They should have stuck with Tubby... Don't feel bad though Carolina barely won on the road against last place UVA. Ty Lawson needs to get healthy quick.

I have to disagree with you on this, Burley is right I did a google of this so called stimulus package and it is going to be an advance on next years refund. I would post the link but I am not sure if that is permissable.
