I have Shimano and Plueger spinnng reels. My favorite is the Shimano, specifically the Symetre. For baitcasters I like the Abu Garcia's. I own a Daiwa Advatange low profile but I still like my 4600 C3 better. I was looking into getting an Abu Max but I may get the C4 intsead after holding a Pro Max. T.

Of the rods I currently have. My overall favorite is my Shimano's. However for inshore Saltwater I have a Cape Fear that my wife uses and a Key Largo rod that I am partial to. For a cheaper rod I have two pistol grip Lightning Rods that I got on clearance that I can not wait to use this spring. T.

My family is from North and South Carolina. My Grandfather Stokes is from around Darlington, SC. There are alot of Stokes' in around Darlington,Florence and Dillion Counties. I have been told our family moved Stokes clan also can to SC via Stokes County on the otherside of Winston Salem. My mother is a Melton and I do not know much about them past my Great grandfather who was 100 yrs old when he died in 1969. This is true but in more than one instace coaches let grades and etc. slide in oder to have the Superstar elible for the Big Game, there of this info needs multiple copies. I am not saying that this is what happened at WVU, but in sure does seem that way.

What kind of University leaves all the files on class attendance and other student activities with the athletic coaches. That is the most idiotic thing I have heard of. I bet the officials at UNC, and Duke have better control over the affairs of their athletic programs. I agree with previous posts, the man should not even been allowed back on Campus unsupervised. Tony Romeo should have stayed in Dallas last week, instead of fyling to Mexico with Jessica Simpson. I glad Dallas lost, could not have happened to better team. I do not understand the Cowboys. Here is a team that signed Terell Owens, the same guy that spiked the ball not once but twice on the star at Texas Stadium when he was with San Fran., now they love him. I guess money is more important than pride.

I wanted one of those as well, however I can not find anyone with experince with. them I made a posting on the saltwater forum that I am member of. I only got one reply and it was not all that great. The author told me that he kept having line twist issues. He ended up sellin it and buying a Slammer. Penn promotes that reel as being braid ready. If I hand to choose I might would get the Penn Slammer. Proven reliabilty and they are the same price. I am not crazy about the handle either. I like a T shaped handle for my saltwater reels. Other than that it seems like a nice reel. Hope this helps. Tony

Well the day finally arrived. After a month and half of waiting, after leaving my previous job I finally started school again. It was kind've wierd because I have been out for 6 or 7 years, aside from some online courses I took last year. I am looking forward to this challenge. It will be difficult but I believe I will be more than satisfied when I am through. I have not completely decided on a major but I am leaning towards either middle grades education or 9-12 Social Studies. You can have all the tapes you want, and try to determine what the other team is doing but if your players do not execute then you do not a snow ball's chance of winning. The Patriots have excuted to perfection this year. Right now they are the best and until they are knocked off, then no one can complain about all the ackalades they are receiving. Big T

On the matter of game wardens powers. Here along the Coast we have people who set up along the road selling their Shrimp. I have seen officers from the NC Dept. of Marine Fisheries checking coolers of these people for illegal catches more than 5-10 miles from the beach or the waterway. The best way to combat your problem is to go to the DMV and get a picture ID. That way you can save yourself and your parents alot of trouble. Big T

Same here, I do not really like hockey. I think it comes from growing up in the South. Baseball is kind of boring and I am Redskins fan in football. Therefore that just leaves basketball which is my favorite sport. I was just amazed at the dominance of one city over pretty much all organized sports. Big T

Man this is the year for the Boston sports teams. The Red Sox won the World Series, the Patriots went 16-0 and are more than likely going to win the Super Bowl and going into tonight, the Celtics are 27-3. I am not much of a fan of the other teams but I do like seeing the Celtics turn things around. I use to like them when I was kid. Back when they had Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Robert Parrish, Danny Ainge, and Dennis Johnson. Oh yea I forgot to mention Boston College's football team as well. Big T

I do not know if this answers your question, but I have a two year old extreme and all it says is MH. I noticed that the new Bionic Blades are listing both action and power. I seriously doubt that he knew what he was taliking about. My BPS leans towards a fast action in which only the top 1/3 bends while casting a lure. The combo may have been a batch of the new rods. The way to tell is the new ones have a cork butt cap from what I have seen online and in the catalog. Big T

I have had Shimano rods due the same thing. I made the mistake of buy a Shimano Carbomax rod for inshore fishing. The rod was a MH rated for up to 1 oz. of weight. I tied on a flounder rig with 1 oz of weight and the tip snapped three inches from the top on the first cast. I carried it back and exchanged it for another. Took the second rod home and went to put the reel on and the foregrip split in two when I tighten the reel down. Carried that rod back and put a little money with it and bought something esle. That experience burned me on Shimano's cheaper rods. I have broken three of them. I will not buy anything lower than a Clarus from them. I recently bought a LR from Bass Pro for $13, will see how it performs, if it sucks then I have not lost much money. Big T
