Lake George Fl?
Lake George is a huge lake and can get scary at times. There will be tons of pleasure boat traffic that whole weekend so get out early and get in early. The east shoreline has been good. There is a lot of eel grass in this lake so take your pick and move through it fast. The bass should be on the outside edge in the morning.

Chevy Volt
The chevy volt is great and all but GM already had an all electric car that could go between 100 and 140 miles between charges. Seems that a car produced roughly 10 years after the second generation EV could do better than 40 miles on a charge. Do a google search for EV1 or watch who killed the electric car?

Food Poisoning
Had Food Poisoning Wednesday Night and Thursday Morning. Didn't feel 100% until Friday morning when I woke up. It wasn't a real bad case. Only threw up 3 times. Yeah it sucked pretty bad. Hope you feel better. Mine was from Homemade Baked Ziti with meatballs.

KVD 2010 AOY
This reason right here is why you need a post season in every sport. Yeah the Cleveland Calaviers may have had the best record in basketball this year but they didn't win the NBA Championship. Kevin Van Dam know how to step it up when he needs to. Certain people have it and certain people don't KVD has it.

paintball
Yeah we used to play a lot back in the day before everything went all high tech. Have played a couple of times in the past few years.

My current setup sucks... is this one good?
I recommend the Berkley Lightning Rod they are rock solid and will last you a long time. For a reel I recommend a Pflueger Trion or President in the 35 size. These reels are really smooth and will last a long time also.

Motorola Droid X
Better make sure your email is supported by the Droid. Our company uses exchange email and the only Droid phone that syncs email, contacts and calendar are the Motorola Droid phones, and that is because they have a proprietary software called Moto Blur that preforms this function flawlessly. Just do your research and ask questions before you jump into anything.

How much oil do you use?
X2 Can't believe I used to have to deal with measuring the adding oil each time I wanted to go fishing. Don't even get me started about the gas mileage. My old boat had a 1978 35hp Evinrude and the new boat has a 2004 30hp 4-stroke and the gas mileage is ridiculous. I probably ran about 20 miles total during the last tournament and probably only burned maybe 2 gallons.

ESPN is reporting the Lebron will sign with the Heat. The Lakers reign in the NBA is over.

A boat, or a new rod and reel?
Get a 12' Jon boat with a 50lb thrust trolling motor. I find myself fishing smaller ponds in my jon boat than in my big boat most of the time.

BPS Pro Qualifier - A Revo?
Not according to the guy who fixes my reels. Just because something comes out of the same factory does not mean it's the same reel or same quality. I just had an Abu repaired and was getting insight from him on purchasing another reel. He said to stay away from the "Big box" reels for the mere fact that parts are difficult to get. I'm not saying rubba bubba is wrong but that tells me that the reel "guts" must be different from name brand reels. Anyway I got a Revo Toro 50HS which will be seeing water for the first time tomorrow. Can't wait I have recently ordered parts for a 2004 era extreme and had no problems getting parts for it.

BPS Rewards Preferred?
This may be true but this is not the case for me. I haven't spent more than probably three or four hundred dollars so far this year. And probably spent less than that last year.

Recommend a Good Ankle Brace
I wear an ankle brace on my left ankle when I play basketball. Here is the link to the one I have. http://www.futuro-usa.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/Futuro/Global/Products/Catalog/?PC_7_RJH9U5230GN080ICTTIVBG2092_nid=DX9SXPNDM7gs9L47L9CFM1glZG34JC9LPFbl It has good lateral support and is fairly comfortable to wear although you will need to wear socks that are high enough to cover the brace.

BPS Rewards Preferred?
I received an flier in the mail telling me I have been selected as a Preferred rewards member and a coupon for 500 rewards points if I purchase something from the local BPS before July 4th. Has anyone else got this in the mail. I don't spend a lot of money at BPS and only go about 3 or 4 times a year maybe. I'm not sure what makes me a preferred member. Anyone know the benefits of being a preferred member. The flier didn't really say what the benefits were, just come to the customer service counter and get your preferred card.

reel seat tips/issues for fuji(on blank thru)Mojo bass
I have a similar problem on some of my rods where the reel seat won't tighten up because the feet of the reel are too small. I take some cardboard from something like a cereal box and cut it to fit the length of the feet and then put the reel on the rod. Fixes the issue every time.

I absolutely love my powerdrive. I have an older late 90's model powerdrive with autopilot but the autopilot feature doesn't work and didn't work when I bought it used about a year ago. Yes the turning is slower than cable drive but I can deal with that by trying to anticipating my next move. I have the wireless model and I love not having any wires or cables on my front deck and I love being able to move the foot pedal to either side of the deck to be able to cast to one side or the other. It does have it pros and cons but for $60 I'll take it. The only problem I have had with it are the batteries in the wireless unit going dead, but that was my fault they sat out in freezing temperatures. I had a backup set and I was good to go after switching them out. Just to let you know the foot pedal is different on these than cable driven. You have to press down left and right to move left and right not front and back like cable driven trolling motors.

Stuck in Daytona Beach in August
There is a little spot up in Ormond Beach that you can get access to the intercoastal. It is about 1.5 miles north of SR40/Granada on John Anderson Blvd. It is a little park with no parking but you can pull down any of the side streets and park out in the street and walk down to the water. I never fished the spot but I know you can access the water from there. You can always hit the bridges in the area and I believe Tomoka park offer some decent fishing. All of these spots are a quick 15 - 20 minute drive from daytona beach.

livewell pump help needed
Before spending too much time trying to get the pump out beat on it with something like a leatherman. My livewell pump wasn't coming on when I was checking everything before our last tournament. I was checking the wiring and running it straight to the battery and nothing worked. Finally I beat on it a couple of times and it started to hum. I think they get dried up and need to be broken loose or at the very least they need to have water coming through the pump. The boat had sat for about two months but was probably longer since we didn't catch any fish at the previous tournament. The pump did the same thing when I bought the boat and it had sat for about a year when I bought it.

Is the topwater bite worth chasing in a tournament?
Yes, absolutely. My partner and I won our classic a few years ago exclusively throwing topwater all day. I admit it was one of the best topwater days we had ever had but, if we didn't try it we wouldn't have had a shot at winning.

Stick Marsh - and other nearby lakes
Is the vegetation back at the Marsh or is that a different lake.

Identify this boat?
Has the general shape of a Carolina skiff. I have a Carolina Skiff J16 and I can tell from the layout and decks unless they are custom that this boat is not a Carolina Skiff. The decks on a Carolina skiff are significantly different than the one on your boat. Also all of their Skiffs are white, so unless it was painted it isn't a skiff.
