What up with my laptop?
It could be damage to the board from the spilled liquid. Take the battery out and clean the connections very good with a q-tip. Run a battery diagnostic test from the bios/manufacturer recovery module you may also be able to do this from within windows also. Also you could try turning off all alerts and notifications that the computer should shut down or go to stand by when the battery gets to a certain discharge level so you can completely run the battery down to zero.

What up with my laptop?
Sounds like a battery problem, but I have a Dell and within the first few months I had it, it would say Blank% Not Charging. It ended up being the charger. May want to try a new charger from ebay first. Make sure you buy an OEM charger.

Who scored Black Friday deals?
I went to target and got two sets of 700 thread count king size sheets sets for $30 and 5 seasons of tv shows for $12.99 each. Also got a 10 pk of picture frames for $12.00. All in all I think I did pretty good.

anyone that knows alot bout jack plates
From what I have read and seen if you have a jack plate your anti-cavitation plate can be a few inches above the bottom of the hull because of the set back. I think your main issue is prop size and not trimming the motor up was the boat is on plane. Like other said you would have over heating problems if the motor was too high. You first need a prop that will give you the correct RPM's when at wide open throttle. Once you have that you will be better able to diagnose the problems. Also a water pressure gauge would be helpful to show you that your motor isn't too high, and will help you know when you may have trimmed the motor up to high.

Official BassResource Christmas exchange! ## 12/4 Cutoff!! ## ADRESSES PLEASE!!##
Did you get "burned" last year? I was under the impression that everything went well except for one person dropping out and causing fivebasslimit not to have a partner. Yes I did get burned last year. I won't name any names, but I sent my gift and it was received and my gift still has yet to show up. Said person was a Full Member (which I know means nothing) and now no longer posts on these forums, or if he does has created a new account. It isn't really a big deal and as you can see I am going to give this another try. I just don't think I got a straight answer from the user. He said he sent the gift, but because he stopped posting shortly after the dispute I take it that he actually didn't send a gift and in the end ended up feeling badly about it but couldn't apologize and tell the truth.

How Would You Rate This Song?
Terrible song. I didn't know a band needed a 6 minute intro that wasn't named dream theatre. HAHAHAHA. The final two minutes was decent.

BPS extreme reel took a dump.
I almost exclusively fish BPS Extreme Baitcast reels. I have I believe 5 or 6 of their extreme reels. I have never had a problem with any of them. Two of the Extremes I have are at least 5 or 6 years old possibly older, I honestly can't remember anymore. Sorry you had bad luck but from my P.O.V. you can't beat their reels for the price.

Highest Fantasy Football Score?
If you are playing a custom league then everybody will have a different really high score. I scored 150+ a few weeks ago and that is really high for our league. It may be the highest of the year. Also you have to take into account the number of teams in your league. Leagues with fewer teams means each team has better players resulting in higher scoring. We have 10 teams in our league Here is how our league is set up. Offense 30 yards per point passing 25 yards per point passing Passing Touchdowns 4 Interceptions -2 Rushing Yards 10 yards per point Rushing Touchdowns 5 Reception Yards 10 yards per point Reception Touchdowns 5 2-Point Conversions 2 Fumbles Lost -2 Offensive Fumble Return TD 5 Kickers Field Goals 0-19 Yards 2 Field Goals 20-29 Yards 3 Field Goals 30-39 Yards 4 Field Goals 40-49 Yards 5 Field Goals 50+ Yards 6 Point After Attempt Made 1 Defense/Special Teams Sack 1 Interception 2 Fumble Recovery 2 Touchdown 5 Safety 2 Block Kick 2 Points Allowed 0 points 12 Points Allowed 1-6 points 9 Points Allowed 7-13 points 7 Points Allowed 14-20 points 4 Points Allowed 21-27 points 1 Points Allowed 28-34 points -3 Points Allowed 35+ points -5

Buying Our First House
I'm only going to say $5,000 less than it appraised for and the seller is paying for the 3% of closing costs and the Inspection, Appraisal, and Survey.

Buying Our First House
We are buying our first house. It was my Fiance's grandmother's house and we are really excited. We got a good deal on it. It is a 3 br 2 ba 1250sq ft. with a big screened in back porch. 1.6 acres and it is water front. We close on the 24th of November. This $8,000 first time homebuyer tax credit is awesome. View from the Back Porch.

I HATE moving!!!
I'm about to move for the 3rd time in 3 years. Moving is no fun and the other half doesn't help much but I guess that is what friends are for. We also just had a baby. Hopefully this will be the last time I have to move for many years. We are buying our first house. We close on the 24th of November. Oh Yeah it is Lake Front. Sweet.

Windows 7?
Windows 7 takes significantly less resource to run than Vista. I have a beta version of Windows 7 running on a Single Core Processor 2ghz and 512 mb of Ram and it runs very smoothly. Windows 7 is very slick and I like it a lot. I have been running it as my only OS in the beta version for 4 months now. I have had very few problems and the few I have had I attribute to the beta version I am running. I haven't found any programs that won't install on my machine except for my home printer and that is because the installed doesn't like my build it wants a 7800 build I think which is the release that you can buy and I have a 7100 release.

HUGE dissapointment
I still have two lightning rods that I use on a regular basis. I love lightning rods especially for spinning applications, specifically topwater. I have a 7' MH and 6'6" MH. I could buy higher priced replacement rods but don't feel the that a replacement is necessary, because the Lightning Rods work so well.

Motorguide Wireless TM - Opinions?
I have a wireless Minn Kota Powerdrive Autopilot and I really like my trolling motor. The foot control will take some getting used to but you probably had to get used to the cable steer the first time you tried to use it. I don't really notice any of the problems some of the other people on board have said about the wireless motors. They both have their pros and cons. I like my wireless motor becuase because of the foot pedal and no cables. I always hated having to readjust the foot pedal on cable drive systems and then the cable would make the foot pedal off balance it was a pain.

Seeking Portable Boat Small Lake And Pond Use
Just get a 12 foot jon boat, it will be more stable they are super light and east to get in and out of the bed of a truck. I have a 12' jon that is older and heavier than the current jon boats on the market and I can easily load and unload my 12' jon boat in the back of my GMC Yukon. You will be happier with a jon boat.

Spool the braid directly from the reel it is on to another reel. Then when you exchange the reel spool it back on.- New Fishing Buddy
Brant Scott Sanders was born at 12:30pm today. He weighed in at 8lbs 14 ounces and was 21 inches long.- 10/03/2009 Club Classic
That is actually my partner I was taking the pic.- 10/03/2009 Club Classic
This past Saturday was our Deltona Small Boat Club Classic. There were 9 boats that qualified for the Classic. We all met in the parking lot of the Winn-Dixie to pull the launch location out of a hat. S.R. 44 in Deland was pulled out of the hat and off everyone went to the ramp. It was a very slow day of fishing and the winning weight was less than 9lbs with only 5 boats bringing fish to the scales with one boat bringing a short fish and subsequently being disqualified. I feel bad that they were disqualified but we have a courtesy rule and they could have measured their fish before the weigh-in. The fish in question was 1/4" short and they would have taken home 4th place and $100. My partner and I took home 3rd place and big bass with only one fish our fish weighed 4.12lbs. In all we took home $300. Second place took home $350 and First place took home $750. Team of the Year who caught total of 86lbs this season over 8 tournaments took home $100. Next season starts the First Saturday of November. If anyone would like to join visit www.deltonasmallboatclub.com Here is a pic of our winning fish.- Bye Bye Oklahoma
There were some questionable calls but Harris is a pretty d**n good quarterback. I'm guessing you haven't watched him much, because that guy can throw.- D'oh!
