  1. Indiana. Bass live here. Somewhere.
  2. Trimming also involves thinning so I think when this advice is given that the thinning part is also a given
  3. It makes all the difference in the world when it comes to your wallet and bias. The fish though? Little to no difference.
  4. I'm still mostly 6'6", 6'8", 6'10", and 7'. I think rods are getting way too long. Everything is cyclical though.
  5. 3 things are guaranteed in life. Death, taxes, and bass fishermen will spend more than they wanted to every single time.
  6. Like I said, you definitely want your plumber coming over all the time to fix things.
  7. Probably don't want your neighbor being a plumber who stops by to fix things while you're at work.
  8. I believe in the evidence of climate change, global changes, and prophecy before my very eyes, so personally I'm enjoying life one day at a time.
  9. I'm taking a 6'8" or 7' 4 power Dobyns casting rod, paired with a 6 or 7 ratio reel, spooled with 12lb Big Game or Yo-Zuri Hybrid, and I'll carry a small, lightweight bag.
  10. Dude's got everything and is constantly in the market for everything at the same time. Money really does grow on trees if even half of it is true.
  11. I recently just subscribed to BASS. $15 for the year. $15 is one lunch. I won't miss it. I like to have physical copies of things. Can't stand digitalized anything.
  12. I had a friend who fished a spinning reel like this but he casted with the reel on the bottom like normal and then flipped it after the cast.
  13. Y'all are paying attention to the seagull but I'm listening to A-Jay and didn't know he knew those words ?
  14. If someone calls the rod power "action" one more time I'm calling the cops
  15. I want to get so good at bass fishing that I can wear a suit and tie and lay in the dirt to show off my catches.
  16. I was catching pond largemouth on a spook up until a few days before New Years. Indiana.
  17. I've seen a few videos of pros who have said that time, dedication, and more importantly resources is what makes them a "pro." A lot of guys could out fish pros, but a lot of guys have families and different careers and aren't millionaires with sponsors knocking on their doors.
  18. Yes, I've noticed this. Zman TRDs have a lot of variation too.
  19. September... September... Oh, that thing that used to be like October is now. Fun fact to go with what we're experiencing: In the 1970s Vancouver Island had 170 glaciers. Today there are 5. Pray for your Y2K+ babies.
  20. Packing up after a day of fishing in Indiana be like
  21. It can be horrible. Had Matt done any good, horrible would have become abominable. This state sucks. Somehow it's managed to be infinitely worse than Illinois.
  22. Thank God Matt Allen didn't do any good on Patoka a few years ago.
  23. Doesn't help you any here, buy fyi I only buy from Amazon directly and never a seller. Case in point. Can't trust hardly anyone or anything these days.
