All Around gear ratio 6:1 vs 7:1
IPT is more important to me. All around for me would be 28"-30".

Ordering at 3am isn't intelligent
4 months later I doubt it, but it's already long been corrected with NFL resending the stuff via DHL. If the 4 month old FedEx packages ever show up, those items are just bonus doubles at this point.

Ordering at 3am isn't intelligent
To clarify, I still have 2 packages from the NFL Shop stating that they're still sitting at a facility to go out for delivery. 2 packages at 2 different times. This was from November LMAO. Still just sitting there aka lost forever. FedEx is so bad that I just contacted NFL directly and they said they have constant problems with FedEx and resent my packages DHL and I got those within days. They said if they ever arrive that congrats I have doubles.

That hasn't been my experience with FedEx. Half the time I don't even get my package with them.

Ordering at 3am isn't intelligent
I ordered a combo a little bit ago. Google showed a $10 price difference among different retailers. I fully intended on buying from BPS since they were $10 cheaper, but I opened another page to check to see if Sportsman's Warehouse, who was selling it for $10 more, was the same product of if I was missing some nuance that made them different. It was the same product. Still having both pages open, I accidentally ordered from SW instead of BPS without even realizing it until I got the confirmation in my email. Soooooo... Does SW ship rods with care in a tube or do they do it the DSG way and ship in a cheap, flimsy box? Should I be expecting a 2 piece?

The red Lew's Mach Smash combo
Anyone use this? I know what to expect out of the reel, but what about the rod? Looking at the 6'10" version of the combo. It says 3/8 to 3/4 ounce lure weights. The 7'2" is 1/4 to 1 ounce. Both MH. Looking at the 6'10" specifically because it would be for my son's 14 yo buddy who wants to get into fishing with us. He's the same size as my son, and my son doesn't like anything 7' or more, finds it cumbersome. I was trying to find a 6'6" MH/F Daiwa Aird-X but they're impossible to find in that length online. Someone in the flea market section directed me towards DSG, but ordering a rod or combo from DSG means you're getting a two piece. How would the 6'10" Smash handle 1/4 ounce weights and sometimes maxing out the 3/4 ounce weight limit? Is it a true fast?

Gas Prices.....
An extra $10-$15 to fill a tank up right now compared to where we were not to long ago. 2 tanks a week, usually $30 extra for most people...at most. I feel like gas price increases are the most manufacturered of the outrages and hardly anyone ever stops to consider that while it's definitely more money, it's not a lot of money. When people complain about 10, 15, 20 cents I just laugh man. You're talking about what amounts to a gas station coffee price hike.

What Was Your Favorite One On Saturday Morning?
I'm in my early 30s. My Saturday mornings were Yu-Gi-Oh, bro.

2022 in Central Indiana is underway
Mooresville I was so excited about the 70* temps Saturday until I saw that it was updated to 30+ mph wind gusts. Of course the best day on the schedule for the next 10 days is the windiest...of course. I'll still be out there but that's disappointing.

2022 in Central Indiana is underway
With yesterday's 60* temps I made my first outting of the year. I caught exactly zero fish, but it sure was nice. I could have tried harder, stayed longer, and used more variety. I mostly threw Vision 110s and the new Mini Max Chatterbait with a Baby Goat trailer. Tried a spinnerbait and a jig for a bit too. In the final 20 minutes I was there I decided to pick up where I left off on December 29th when I caught my last bass: Super Spook Jr. Man, the colder that water got, the better the Spook was. Everything I thought I knew about bass was shattered as I spent those final 2 weeks hammering countless bass with the Spook in freezing water. Well yesterday, in those final 20 or so minutes, just after ice out, with the water still freezing cold, I got two blowups. Both fish missed the bait sadly, but that's fine, it was nice to see and continued to show me that I know nothing. Both bass went airborne, the first maybe a pound and a half at most, the second bass would have been at least four pounds as far as I could tell. Simply amazing.

Tackle Warehouse communication issues?
I just started using TW again after the dust settled from them getting hacked, having an incompetent system, and hiding it all from the customers for 2 months so they could make that holiday cash. One order was an overnight delivery. I placed my order the afternoon before, and received it the next morning. The second order was standard ground. My package was initially estimated to arrive in 5 days, and it arrived in exactly 5 days. Everything as it was supposed to be, and so far, no hacked account.

When is a good spinnerbait scenario?
Wind, overcast, or rain, or all of it combined. Along weeds and around wood. Spinnerbait finally made a huge comeback for me last season. Even then, as successful as it was for me, it was entirely useless if the conditions weren't right OR if I wasn't very targeted with it. Chuck and wind on a sunny day with 6 mph winds isn't the time (but again, if you're targeted with it, conditions matter a lot less).

Hook Eye Gaps
Your knot can slip into the gap, get jammed in there, and next fish is a lost fish. I've noticed that this isn't really something that happens because of a fish on, but before you ever get a fish on because of the knot slipping around the eye. I check frequently.

Let's Talk Lipless Crankbaits
The Original Rat-L-Trap (in Blue Shiner in particular) is still the best (for me, at least). What I know about Lipless Crankbaits is that, if you've got a true swimmer, you can't fish it too fast (as in there's no speed you can reach that is too fast for the fish to be interested and able) and jigging it is a seriously underutilized tactic.

Ridiculed from buddies for bass fishing???
People who think like this are too limp wristed to set a hook, too talentless to learn a baitcaster, and too stupid to locate fish and prefer the laziness of sit and wait.

Best Fishing Store You’ve been in
Oh and this part always make me laugh. So in person the store is janky little fishing shop with odds and ends. However if you go to the website it's all about guns. It's like the store is a front for arms dealers. Cracks me up and makes no sense but whatever.
