@ironbjorn is correct. get a chance to look at your T-rig. it barely separates. 3 inches max with my 1/8 tungsten bullet. realizing this, is why i am gonna try a free-rig tomorrow. i want to see what my bait does with some better separation. i am going to my crystal clear lake tomorrow, if my truck seems okay.

i'm gonna crawl under it today. take a look-see. then see if my bed extender for my kayak still goes in plumb. those saturday fish..i cant catch them from home.

I totally jinxed myself talking about my truck. a Drunk Driver just plowed into me this afternoon. I didnt get the luxury of exchanging info with the guy like two responsible adults. he was wrestled into an ambo..by 6 dudes. cops and fire. they strapped him to a gurney..and cuffed him. I'm fine and truck is drivable. at least to kayak fish. I bet it is totaled being how old it is. frame looks tweaked. but I dont have the eyes of a good body shop. those guys can find things...I can't see. first initial phone calls to insurance companies seem to indicate he isn't covered. it won't be as clean a transaction, I dont think. I do have coverage. but they have to exhaust all efforts to pass the buck to someone. I am just gonna sit on my couch now.

I have all green pumpkins. If I want to adjust color I try different trailer colors. I do have one blue black jig. But most times I just put a blue black trailer on a GP jig.

we had rain. lots of rain. unexpected to me was the amount of stuff that started growing around here. it is CRAZY!. i suffer from mild allegies that some prescription nasal spray keeps at bay. not this spring. it triggered my asthma. and it slammed it into high gear. my doc told me to stop all my asthma meds because she is giving me a new one. it is kinda helping, but not what i hoped for. this is rough!! with the Covid specter still lingering, my cough and raspy voice is probably making people nervous. i need stuff to dry up and die. hahahhaha..

yea. that is different. then the only thing is to find where they went. they are 100% not in that bush that is now up on a bank exposed by the downdraw. i always tell myself to memorize where the juicy cover is, only to forget as soon as the water comes back up.

i was told by a biologist a lake drastically drying up holds less oxygen, and the fish wont eat. dunno. also something about toxins build up.

so, if i tear a bait. can i use a new one, glue the broken one with Mend-It and it will cure while i am getting the new one beaten up?

i dont ever recall my treestand guys looking at the species of tree they sit in. i hate treestands so know very little, but i do know you want to be between their beds, and food and water supply. hunt their highways, not their food source. that's how my friends do it. good luck. be safe with those treestands.
