Florida has them, yea. but the Amazon is kinda the thing we are going for. some trips fly you in on a float plane!!! sure there isn't a Red Lobster or Olive Garden with the yummy unlimited bread sticks..but we are hoping for some adventure and see things.

doing preliminary homework for next year. Me and a friend. our significant others are going to Paris together, so we both collectively thought" Amazon!" the internet is full of guided trips. any real world recommendations?

i am going out of town to take care of my convalescing mom. it wont be a "Good time". to load up mental health points: i will fish tomorrow and Sat. i want to hit the Delta Sat, but it would be a solo trip. fishing reports are bleak. tide is janky. super low tide at 10:00 am. at least there is no wind gah..such a tough decision. i'll fish a local lake everyone has been avoiding cuz it sucks..and see if the action picked up tomorrow. right down the street from my home. so tough. hard to risk a 2 hour drive for tough conditions.

did you ever explain how you freed the kayak? when you swam for shore, did you abandon the boat?

i dont have a casting form. it varies from standing on the shore, to a bass boat deck to a kayak deck. heck, i sometime switch hands casting from a kayak or boat.

i go light. i use 12lb flouro. never had an issue, but my Chatterbait game is kinda junior varsity at best.

i hate cash. but i also hate getting hosed when i eat out at lunch (occasionally) and the restaurant wont break up the reciept. (most do) and there is a really good tackle shop along the way. i seem to flush my wallet of cash rather quickly. super annoying, and it drives my wife nuts seeing me peck at the checking account balance. hahah.. you have cash at all times? you do an ATM run on Sunday and pull out a wad?

i think my new Outback has the same tranducer pocket. i will keep this scenario in mind.

Even a Mallard is nasty if you cook it wrong. By wrong I mean, over cooked. It’s super liver flavored over cooked. cooked like above its great. Without the occasional pellet, I could almost fool my wife.

around my parts, it is almost magical early. fog layer just floating above the water. crisp cold air, warm water still. but my friend always says, "oh when it warms up the fish should get active". it does make me wonder why i am out so early. maybe just for the ambiance.
